Gaza City is literally living through its final days, and every passing day makes life here more difficult and unbearable.
We are losing what little remains of our resources and capabilities, with no alternatives available. Dozens of essential goods and raw materials are still prohibited from entering. Every basic necessity of life is gradually disappearing from the city. I am not exaggerating; this is the reality we are living. Things you take for granted in your everyday lives, things you barely think twice about, are simply unavailable here.
It has reached the point where even lighters are no longer available. Wood, iron, cement, and all other construction materials are prohibited from entering. Bakeries, water stations, and shops are shutting down one after another because of shortages of fuel, oils, and raw materials. Even the agricultural sector has been almost entirely destroyed after approximately 70% of agricultural land was seized.
We are not simply facing a shortage of goods. We are gradually losing everything that allows a city to function, survive, and sustain life.
What is happening is pushing Gaza City towards complete dependence on external aid, rather than allowing it to produce its own necessities and provide for its people.
Write, share, and speak about what is happening. Do not stop amplifying our voices.

🚨 THE WISDOM OF COMPASSION AMIDST FIRE: Perhaps life does not give us everything we love, but contentment gives us the entire life. The war has taught us to appreciate every single blessing. Driven by this profound gratitude, my family and I refuse to let the darkness alter our true nature or diminish our resolve. Semicolon-by-semicolon, we actively engineer our survival. 📈💔
Our mornings continue to begin with a heavy calculus of endurance. At dawn, we were shaken awake by the terrifying boom of tank artillery, following heavy airstrikes in Deir al-Balah. Just an hour ago, a drone strike hit a group less than 10 minutes from my doorstep, leaving 3 martyred and over 10 injured. Yet, against this endless violence, a fragile shift is happening—more commercial goods and aid trucks are finally flowing. Prices are starting to ease, but the market remains deeply parched after weeks of total deprivation. We deeply hope this flow continues so the market can stabilize.
Our tactical shield remains unbroken. Every single morning, my absolute priority is to immediately feed our 17 innocent cats, provide them with clean water, and carefully inspect them for any urgent veterinary needs. Together with my wife, my son Ayman, and my daughter Julia, we continue to wage a daily battle to keep this sanctuary alive, buying supplies from the current market and covering mounting medical costs to keep our core fallback reserve untouched. To help us sustain our family survival stock and replace consumed meals daily, we urgently need a serious stand from you today. Your direct support via PayPal (paypal.me/animalrescue703) is our final vital anchor to endure this trial. Retweet, share, or stand with us. 🙏⏳

Who from House Democratic caucus will have the courage to call for a vote to censure and expel Haley Stevens?
After the election there will have to be a reckoning, not just with Haley Stevens but those that promoted her: notably Chuck Schumer and @neeratanden

i bought and read these two books when i was 17 because of the covers and found them insane and depraved. i haven’t read them since, but always thought the final note in almost transparent blue was incredibly romantic
