So every once in a while I have to take the flight from Miami to Atlanta - “ for reasons.” When I do it, always think of great artist, Tom T. Hall & his song which is largely about this flight — “Old Dogs …” - which also mentions 🍉 🍷 - just perfect. I used to sometimes fly it a roundabout way artificially b/c I was worried people did not wish to see a grown man cry on a plane (seriously : how do you explain to someone before Tom’s time how you cannot avoid respectful tears for his nobility? No one young thinks people have even existed like Tom before), & but yet no more do I do that now b/c Tom.  Am from TN & knew Tom & if you know him impossible to think about what a great man he was & avoid crying. But I think no more avoiding so I say to you good people always the truth — Tom was a great artist. Just b/c he mentions this flight in his song is no reason for avoiding the flight and I was wrong to do so, sometimes. Tom represented the best & loving aspects of a noble 🇺🇸 & I am so proud to have just shaken his hand for a minute. To the extent I took other flights so people would not see me cry about the nobility & artistry of Tom T, I was wrong and I am ashamed.  What a great man!
