"If I do this and I don't slay, it's a historical L." - Ryan Gosling Alright, here goes nothing... MESSAGE FROM YOURS TRULY: Guys, the time has come when I'd like to cash in on whatever goodwill I may have accumulated over the past 6-7 years that we've been hanging out together: If you've enjoyed any of my projects so far, be that PEOM or Clap For Mordin, I'd kindly request only 2 things from you in return for all my past, and future, contributions: 1. Subscribe to the existing YouTube channel: youtube.com/@OrikonTMR 2. Follow the new profile: xitter.cf/OrikonTMR CONTEXT, IF YOU CARE: As it happens, my dedication to Mass Effect has given me a small advantage, particularly on YouTube. The first 1,000 subs are often the hardest milestone for any new creator, and this fandom has gifted me that head start. Plus, there are nearly 2,000 followers here on X. Come on, you can't blame me for using all this as a launching pad. 😛 WHAT EVEN IS THIS??? Present-day movie/show reviews love wasting your time. TMR fixes that by going straight to the point and cutting all the bullshit while keeping your entertained. I've been cooking this for almost a year now, beset by technical issues and changes in creative direction. But now its ready. No Ads, no recaps, and no AI. #MassEffect #bioware

IGN can exclusively reveal that the Mass Effect television series remains in development at Amazon MGM Studios despite news of BioWare's closure and the cancellation of Mass Effect 5. For more info: bit.ly/4iz8vAx

This is about to be another Andromeda. The show is meant to bridge the gap between ME3 and ME4, and help setup that upcoming game. But now the show will come out and we'll be left with bits and clues about what ME4 could've been, just like with the Quarian DLC in Andromeda 😭

PSA: With #bioware and #MassEffect closing, it's possible that the original Multiplayer servers also shut down. If that happens, the release of LEMP was perfectly timed. With the latest update, progress can be imported from ANY platform. Even the Wii U. Importing is done once and doesn't rely on EA afterwards, meaning that LEMP will keep your progress even after the MP servers close. Pass the word. If the worst case scenario is being planned, you may only have a short window to preserve your decade-old stuff and unlocks. And just to remind you, the LEMP experience is *identical* to the original. The author is also working on fixes around the clock, and we've got plenty of active lobbies on a daily basis. #StopKillingGames

The new Multiplayer mod for the Legendary Edition comes with one very exciting opportunity: The author ported over ALL of the original maps, meaning that I can (and will) create short new singleplayer missions set on locations like Firebase Hydra and Condor. It doesn't have to be some large, multi-layered mission. Something on the scale of ME2's N7 Missions is fine, and thanks to all of the new content coming with "Galaxy Map Modernization & Content Integration", it will be easy to find narrative context. #MassEffect #bioware

The role of the modding community will arguably be more important now than ever before, especially on this upcoming November 7th. I can promise you that #N7Day2026 will deliver a celebration of Bioware and Mass Effect which will outshine the bittersweet feeling you have now. And going forward, we will do our best to maintain Bioware's legacy and memory, by ensuring you always have something new or different to look forward to when starting your annual playthrough. Stand fast. Stand strong. Stand together. #MassEffect #bioware

BioWare had been dead since Anthem, but you weren't ready to have that fucking conversation. Veilguard was just the last nail in the coffin.

From the upcoming Omega Hub. Outside is complete. Afterlife interior is still WIP. Overall, the Hub is roughly 70% done. 50+ individual NPCs + Bioware's (performance-efficient) crowd system. Number of NPCs depends on the DLC's ending. Hub also includes multiple stores, quests, Normandy crew members, and Zaeed. Coming with "Galaxy Map Modernization + Content Integration" on #N7Day2026. #MassEffect #bioware

Having to pull some black magic trickery to keep the whole Hub performance friendly 💀

To foreshadow the Citadel DLC, a few CAT6 mercs show up on Omega. They hired a local Batarian to repair their Atlas, and I removed its canopy + armor pieces to help portray the process. Nothing special, but stuff like this makes the game more interconnected. #MassEffect #bioware

(Very) WIP preview of landing on Omega after the DLC. The intro cinematic will be longer, I just gotta install LE2 first in order to grab some necessary data. The Batarian store has been moved from the Citadel to Omega. You'll be able to purchase some Batarian weapons, but only if you enlisted their help in the war effort (aka. acquired their War Asset). #MassEffect #bioware

Guys, remember, I said "apparently". This was uploaded literally 4 hours ago. I only spread the news. While the author claims that its a fully faithful and functional restoration, he also classifies the project as Alpha. Bugs are possible. EA's servers were also replaced.

And yeah, the project was vibe coded. But it doesn't matter. AI use is fully justified in cases like this. And since Bioware did a sloppy job ripping out MP in the remaster, a lot of the old framework was still in the files, enabling a completely faithful restoration.

Looked into the crowd system while working on the Omega Hub... those models I posted originally simply had their LOD locked to lowest in order to help with performance. If somebody were to reset those LOD's back to default, crowds across the whole DLC would look much better. Not saying they look perfect... textures and polygon count are still low. But at least they have arms, fingers, and recognizable faces. There'd be no performance impact on modern systems. Overall, I love how they implemented crowds in Omega and Citadel DLC. The base game should be updated to use them instead of those PS1-era sprites. #MassEffect #bioware
Do not, under any circumstance, zoom your camera to the distant NPCs during the Omega DLC. Even PS1 Hagrid had eyes drawn on his face 💀 #MassEffect #bioware

Man... working on the Omega Hub for #N7Day2026 reignited the kind of innocent passion for modding that I thought was long lost. Too often with PEOM and all the Compatibility Patch work it ends up feeling like a chore, but Omega is a blank canvas with a straightforward, hassle free development pipeline. Perfect environment for a creative endeavor. It'll be great and a lot of fun for players. #MassEffect #bioware

CDPR made +2,200 NPC variations for Cyberpunk 2077. They are finished and shipped with the game but you never see them in the streets. This mod enables them. New colours, new faces, new hair, new jewellery, and whole outfits have been sitting in the game files all along.
