Kids think they have forever. That high school football never ends. When you are a freshman it seems like it will always be there. Now we are 24 hours from the last game of the regular season. They don’t realize how fast it’s over. Never take it for granted.
High school football is a beautiful experience through all of its struggles and all of the peaks and valleys it presents. Cherish the moment.
Celebrating the win last night was an amazing time but it was this right here that shows what type of team we have.
My oldest idolizes our players each year. For them to allow him to run a few routes and welcome him in is what I'll always cherish. That is what makes a great team
Our next Impactful Teacher is Mrs. Dunlavey. Conner chose Mrs. Dunlavey because "She helped make him love History even more. She helped me pass my AP Euro test & improved my writing skills"
The Impactful Teacher shirts are sponsored by Grant Kleinsteiber with Compass Insurance
Proud of the player you have become! True hardworking attitude!
Super excited and blessed to announce that I have decided to spend my next 4 years at the University of Wisconsin Plattville. Thank you @CoachShackUWP, @Ryan_Munz and the rest of the @UWPlattFootball coaching staff.
Senior Impactful Teacher

This is what coaches mean when they ask is he, “is he coachable?”
Kenneth Walker shows eye contact, intent, and a serious interest in what his coach is teaching
Young athletes, this will take you further than you think
Senior Impactful Teacher
Grant chose Mr. Graham. "Coach Graham has always been someone that believes in me and wants to teach me the right material. He also taught me how to enjoy football through adversity"

Blake chose Mrs. Munoz. "She is really nice and interacts with students. She also helps students if they don't understand something."
Senior Impactful Teacher
Gavin chose Mr. Johnson. "He has made a lasting impact on my life because he has been so much more than just a teacher. His belief in me & the high standards he sets have shaped not only the student & athlete I am today, but the person I hope to become"
Senior Impactful Teacher:
Tyson chose Ms. Fox. He said "She always has a great attitude and makes class easier. She also gives me snacks. She respects us and makes class better every day."
Thanks to Grant Kleinsteiber & Compass Insurance for the sponsor
"Week" 1 in the books! Great attitude and work ethic through it all. Football isn't for the weak or uncommitted!!
But for the next 48 hours, rest time!

Fun fact: In the run game, there are only two kinds of plays: Zone & Gap, only difference is the angle you dive to & the destination of the pullers(Gap)
It's coaches that make everything rocket science, measuring 'steps', 87 different calls, etc.
It should never matter what a defense lines up in on a zone play, period. The only variation that adds blockers is linebackers in the box.
Your gap scheme front side should never change minus the possibility of a double team.
90% of run game is mentality & vioence don't make the 10% more important than it should be.
If your OL can’t explain to you clearly their rule and what step they take, you have too many schemes or too many rules!

Summer 26 work is in the books. Now time for a much needed rest for all until we kick off in August!

Kids—even high school students—shouldn’t have homework. Kids are in school for 7 hrs. If it can’t be done during school, do it tomorrow.
