At Ohio Valley Presbytery’s meeting today and very thankful for this resource. It’s been a regular companion of mine to presbytery meetings since it came out. If you can find a copy, definitely pick one up!
Thanks to @jacobgerber / @PCAPolity / @gospelrefnet for putting this out.
From @GeorgeSayour - "While unbelieving visitors will not understand all the terms and things that are being said, and may not know about the characters being referenced, they ought to leave our churches with it clear in their mind that we love Jesus..." Read more in link 👇

We are looking forward to welcoming pastor, author, (and my friend) C. R. Wiley to Antioch for what promises to be a fantastic conference on Saturday, November 14th. He'll also be filling the Old Antioch pulpit in our morning service on the 15th. Please consider joining us. Register now, as spots are limited.
Beginning at 10 AM on Saturday of the conference, we will consider "The Cosmic Mandate for a Productive Household" and "Reflecting Our Creator-Redeemer" before breaking for lunch and afternoon fellowship. At 6:30 PM, Pastor Wiley will lead a casual men's hangout discussion around his latest book, "Manmade: Saint Anthony's Guide to Surviving the A.I. Apocalypse."
In morning worship on the 15th, Pastor Wiley will continue the theme, and I will close out the Lord's Day with a sermon on promoting a gospel culture of spiritual (and physical) life and vitality in our evening service. We'd love for you to join us.

Presbyterian church-planting should be thoroughly biblical, Christian, and Presbyterian.
But we repeat ourselves.

"There is something powerful about simply being present long enough for a community to know that you love it. That presence rarely needs to feel strategic."

If the PCA is going to become a more vital church-planting body in the future, what is it going to take? What needs to characterize our church-planting efforts? Three essentials must mark our efforts: missional clarity, proactive integrity, and compelling leadership.

What a joy and privilege to preach Christ in Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary's chapel last week.
"For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves are your bond-servants for Jesus' sake" (2 Corinthians 4:5).

We were grateful to have alumnus @ZGroff of @AntiochPca in Simpsonville, SC preach at our chapel this past week. Thankful for his ministry.
One of the most revealing features of modern life is that abundance does not seem to have made us more content. Our standard of living would have appeared almost utopian to earlier generations, yet we remain restless, anxious, and dissatisfied. - RE Rich Leino

We are delighted to launch Reformed by the Word, a new P&R podcast hosted by @ZGroff!
Our first episode features Dr. Richard Phillips in a conversation about Revelation.

The Church has wrestled for centuries with how women should participate in its ministries of mercy and service... But that is not the same as saying the Church has debated for two thousand years whether men and women should be ordained interchangeably to a common diaconal office.

Looks like a great resource for our Presbyterian churches, men's groups, and families!
Provide and Protect by my friend @BrianCosby18 is now available for purchase (on @amazon and B&N - links in thread below). I heartily endorse this new book, and Antioch Presbyterian Church - PCA will be using it in our Men of the Covenant ministry.
Here's what I had to say about it: "In Provide and Protect, Brian Cosby has given men a field manual for countering the three-headed spiritual insurgency of wokeness, weakness, and compromise so prevalent in our society (and churches) today. There are many helpful books out there on leadership, personal discipline, work, and masculinity from both biblical and not-so-biblical perspectives. What sets Provide and Protect apart is its usefulness as a balanced theoretico-practical manual for how to be about the daily business of taking on the cultural forces that are poisoning and emasculating modern men who know they were made to exercise Christ-exalting dominion where God has placed them. As a guide for pursuing a truly biblical masculinity, I cannot think of a better resource out there today. May it be used by men of good faith to great effect in our families, churches, workplaces, schools, and commonwealth."
