This reads as "lol, it turns out TPUSA is a lot less effective when you assassinate its charismatic leader" Which is certainly not what Jonah meant, but it is what the left celebrates every time they make fun of Kirk's death.
Thank God TPUSA mobilized the youth vote.

No. You didn’t. You are absolutely 100% wrong. You did nothing of the sort. @NRSC Senate Republicans under YOUR “leadership” did nothing. Nothing. You had the chance to begin the process of saving our election system from the radical left. By passing the SAVE America Act. But K Street either didn’t care or opposed it. So why bother, right? Because the GOP Senate only does what can be monetized via those endless lobbyist dinners / fundraisers. If it can’t raise you money? Probably not worth doing. And you BERATED @BasedMikeLee for trying to get you to work full weeks, to try to pass the SAVE America Act. Or to work a weekend sometime. Or not to recess for weeks in March and then again recess for a month in August. You and your fellow GOP Senators told him that nobody cared about the SAVE America Act. That he needed to sit down and shut up. And the American people watched you, day after lazy, do-nothing day. And how you literally could not come up with a single idea to manage the Senate rules to get the bill passed. You just could not figure it out. Because you really didn’t and don’t care. And because you just are clueless. What’s all the fuss, you say. It’s not a big deal to you that our election system has been taken over and manipulated by the left. That aliens by the hundreds of thousands are on our voter rolls, that there are illegal votes by the thousands in the election results…and that it matters. It matters to the USA. But not to you @LeaderJohnThune So now, you don’t have to worry about it. You don’t have to be in charge of producing meaningful results for the American people. They just sent you to your room without any supper. I’m sure you must be relieved. You and your fellow GOP colleagues who just flat couldn’t be bothered to figure out how to save our elections. Well done, you. What a waste of space you’ve been as a leader. That term should never be applied to you or to your inner circle. Utterly disgusted by the lot of you. You did this. Tuesday was the Thune election. You own it. Hope you’re happy. @EIwatchdogs @seanmdav @EricLDaugh @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump @Bannons_WarRoom @greg_price11 @RealAmVoice

I think it's very important to realize that there is a small but quickly growing faction of the political spectrum that will cheer when -- your family Tesla gets firebombed -- a CEO gets executed in the street -- a podcaster is murdered at a college debate event -- a candidate for POTUS is shot in the head -- the world's greatest entrepreneur is publicly threatened with execution at a fairly mainstream event
At an event with Kara Swisher, Scott Galloway called for the execution of Elon Musk for being a “traitor to the west” live on stage.

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls. That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching. I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee. Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

All Haley Stevens has to do is apologize, rescind the endorsement, get a Nazi tattoo, abuse a spouse or partner, masturbate in a portapotty, and publicly justify 9/11, then this will all be water under the bridge.

What would possess a person to tell 44 million people that Donald Trump will start a nuclear war with Iran two days before the midterms knowing damn well that every word of that post is a lie? Other then trying to sway the vote to democrats so they can try to impeach President Trump, which you know they will they’ve been talking about it for two years.

If any pilots are reading this, I am fine if we arrive late because you took the time to avoid storms. Please prioritize safety above everything else.
“The most likely cause, based on the available tracking data, ATC audio, weather context, and the physics of the final trajectory, is this: The Learjet 60 penetrated the core of a strong convective cell (tops reported near 47,000 ft while the aircraft was around 35,000 ft). Inside the cell it encountered a rapid updraft-to-downdraft transition that drove the nose down. The aircraft then accelerated past its Mach limits, entered Mach tuck (the aerodynamic nose-down force that becomes strong once a Learjet is overspeed at high altitude), and developed a steep spiral. Descent rates exceeded 30,000 ft/min and the final attitude was near-vertical. Recovery was not possible once that sequence was established. Ice was reported by the crew and may have added workload or minor performance degradation, but at approximately –47 °C classic structural icing is improbable and is not required to explain the observed behavior. Claims of an isolated negative-G pushover specifically shearing the horizontal stabilizer are aerodynamically possible in severe turbulence but remain secondary and unconfirmed; the dominant, data-supported chain is cell penetration → upset → overspeed/Mach tuck → unrecoverable dive. The critical decision was the failure to deviate around a cell that was visible on radar and associated with ground stops at FLL. Once inside the core, the margin for recovery disappeared within roughly 30 seconds.”

I like how she shocked that she’s the one being arrested. “Why? Just because I hit her?” That sums it up right there. They completely dehumanize people who don’t agree with them.
🚨 BREAKING: A psychotic Abdul El Sayed supporter just VIOLENTLY TACKLED a young Jewish girl after the girl said, "If she were walking around in Iran like this, what would happen to her?" JUST as Haley Stevens endorses Mike Rogers. *Lunges at her* "F**ing get over here, btch!" The cop then MANHANDLED her. LOCK HER UP. These people are VIOLENT and DERANGED This is going to surge in America unless we defeat them on Tuesday

The failure here isn't Abdul Al-Sayed. The failure is the entire media complex who has decided they are not going to question him on such things. This is a failure of journalism. He has never been pushed on his family connections for the Muslim brotherhood, because journalists don't want to be called Islamaphobes. He has never been pushed on biological males competing in women's sports because the media doesn't want to approach that issue, and he has never ever faced any of these questions. This is a failure of journalism.
.@AbdulElSayed says it’s ok for MEN to be in girl’s locker rooms. Why? “Well because they are going to find out about it on the internet anyway” Completely unacceptable.

The Republican party is more than Trump. The DSA is literally a threat to our Republic, and Democrats are helping them get political power. If you care about America, the choice of which party to support is obvious. It's the Republicans.
I don’t support Trump. But I also won’t vote for DSA members. I reckon many Americans are stuck in the same situation.

If you’re under 30, the most important thing you need to understand about Stevens’ endorsement is that, just 10 years ago, a candidate who (a) signed a letter urging the Muslim Brotherhood to eliminate pro democracy dissidents in Egypt, or (b) refused to disavow a surrogate who claimed America deserved 9/11 or an ad that claimed you can’t afford groceries because bloodthirsty Israelis love to kill children, or (c) said “hurt people hurt people” about a terrorist who tried to murder dozens of children, would not have polled above 2% in a Democratic primary, and that today a Democrat who says that supporting a candidate like the above is a bridge too far in the name of party loyalty is being called a traitor by the Democrat Senate Minority Leader. Haley Stevens is a patriot who put country over party.

Exactly this. I’m a gay man and I’ve been blocked by the organisation that’s meant to be the champion of my rights.
It is simply mind-blowing that an organisation set up to protect people who simply want to love and desire who they love and desire, and not to be shamed for it or discriminated against for it, has turned into an organisation arguing that gay people who aren't open to sleeping with the opposite sex are morally reprehensible.

Haley Stevens was going to do a Democratic unity rally with Abdul El-Sayed and James Clyburn where she was going to encourage her supporters, many of whom have serious reservations about El-Sayed, to vote for him. This was very important for El-Sayed, because Stevens is popular among Jewish and black Michigan Democrats and Clyburn is an icon among black voters nationwide. El-Sayed has weakness with both of these groups and needs to shore them up going into election day. Stevens's condition was that he make an unambiguous, unqualified condemnation of the antisemitic rhetoric his friends, supporters and surrogates have been using, including in ads run in Michigan. El-Sayed refused to do this, and instead asked Stevens not to appear at the event. At that point, Stevens realized that he was not interested in unity with her or her supporters and that she could no longer support him for Senate. El-Sayed is an antisemite. He is friends with antisemites Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur. He will not condemn them. He will not condemn the awful things they say. He has had multiple opportunities to condemn their hateful rhetoric, and he always says: "He is not part of a campaign, nobody speaks for me but me, and I'm not here to talk about that." That's not good enough. If that is how a Republican talked about Nick Fuentes or Richard Spencer, it would be the biggest controversy in the race. The fact that so many Democrats are willing to tolerate this from Abdul El-Sayed is an indictment of the entire party. There is no coalition that can include both the Jewish Democratic members of Temple Israel and supporters of the Hezbollah terrorist who tried to murder their preschool children. Abdul El-Sayed made a decision about who he wanted in his tent. Haley Stevens was late to realize it, but it is admirable that she finally decided to be an upstander instead of a bystander. No Nazis in the US Senate.
Genuinely struggling even to construct a theory of mind for this beyond "Abdul told me not to come to his campaign event so fuck him." None of the Hasan Piker stuff is even remotely new!

And everyone knows the people attacking Stevens now would be celebrating any Republican who came out in support of a Democrat because the Republican running was too extreme. She is doing exactly what many of them insist principled Republicans should do in many other races.
Replying to @AGHamilton29
Stevens tried everything she could to appease that crowd. she didn't want to do this because she knows it likely means the end of her personal prospects in Dem politics. She tried to give El-Sayed every chance to show he could change or to try to reach the voters he has alienated. He just refused because it's who he is and she realized that staying in a coalition with people who hate you just to stay in the tent isn't worth it.
