Republican BS hypocrisy:
1. Guns are safe! The real problems are bad people/mentally ill people.
2. Guns are not allowed at Repub rallies.
Why? Is it because guns aren’t safe, or rally attendees are bad/mentally ill? All the above?
The hypocrisy is so blatant & simplistic.
Breaking News: Lauren Boebert has already submitted her job application at “Girls, Girls, Girls” and “Diamond Cabaret.”
One of the biggest winners from this election is Jon Ossoff, but not b/c he won his race in a landslide. The reason is b/c Lance Bottoms won the Governor race, allowing Ossoff to run for POTUS w/out reservation b/c she would appoint his replacement in the Senate. It's a big deal.
Florida was so damn close to electing 2 normal leaders in Jolly and Nixon. Sigh. Hopefully the Dems get their act together and Nixon beats Moody in 2028.
Piers is an absolute asshole, and I think most people know this. But, he is also correct here. I wish he actually allowed her to talk more in this "interview" but she also knew she was trapped.

His final response? “I’m certainly allowed to eat meat when someone kills bees to feed their avocado habit!”

Piers Morgan: Great. A leading study says billions of bees are slaughtered so that you can have your almonds and avocados. Why don’t you care about the little guys?

Piers Morgan: It’s total hypocrisy, isn’t it? You don’t care about bees being murdered.

Piers Morgan: I think you’re a hypocrite, like a lot of vegans I’ve met. You don’t seem to realize that your almonds and avocados involve the slaughter of billions of bees.
Piers Morgan: You believe in the climate crisis?
Orla Coghlan: Yes.
Piers Morgan: Animal agriculture, farming and fishing are leading causes of the climate crisis. But you know what’s also damaging? Planes carrying your avocados and almonds from California thousands of miles to your vegan cafes. You’re killing billions of bees and destroying the planet, yet you sit here preaching about saving animals and the environment!
Orla Coghlan: I hear that you’re very frustrated. I would really like to respond.
Piers Morgan: Go on, then.
Orla Coghlan: A leading study from Oxford, the most comprehensive study on food and climate ever done, says animal products farming animals and fishing are the leading cause.

Piers Morgan: I’m starving, and you’re not going to persuade me. My response to you destroying all these things is to have a Big Mac. It’s a free country, it’s a democracy. I’m allowed to eat meat, and I’m certainly allowed to eat meat when someone who kills bees to feed their avocado habit lectures me!
Set aside the overall results from election night, what I would LOVE to see, going forward (and I know it won't happen) is for more/all politicians from BOTH parties to campaign like Talarico (and others). That positivity is what NORMAL voters really crave.
I'll admit, given the massive blue tsunami, especially considering the flip in Kansas and POSSIBLE flip in Mississippi (I still don't expect that to happen)...I'm a little surprised Mary Peltola isn't doing better thus far.
