Here is the thread of the books I explored, along with standard books #MedTwitter #MBBS Some are fun to read, some give beautiful insight into a topic, and some might help with an exam or a quiz 🧵

There should be a topic named "Amiodarone and its tales of thyroid"... #MedTwitter
Why can Amiodarone cause both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism? 🤔

Spironolactone cuts death risk 30 percent in systolic heart failure. Class I evidence since RALES. Yet fewer than one in three eligible patients ever get prescribed it. Now look at the other kind of heart failure, the preserved ejection fraction type. Same drug. The newest trial, SPIRIT-HF, trended toward harm. Meanwhile finerenone, a different MRA, hit its primary endpoint and got FDA approved in 2025. Same drug class. Not the same drug. People keep treating MRAs like one interchangeable pill, and that assumption just stopped holding up.
