New network hashrate high for Pearl pearl-2:native : 106.0 EH/s on Nov 6.
Until now, this account called highs on lordofpearls' 60-block reading. From this post on, highs use prlscan's 200-block estimate.
On that measure, the previous high was 105.5 EH/s on Oct 27.
The window changes the number.
Trackers estimate hashrate from difficulty and the average time between recent blocks. L
At the same block, prlscan's data reads:
• 200 blocks: 106.0 EH/s
• 60 blocks: 150.1 EH/s
Blocks arrive at random intervals, so a short window turns a run of fast blocks into a spike, while a longer one smooths it out.
That is why trackers show different numbers at the same minute: lordofpearls' chart read 119.12 EH/s for this block.

Three weeks ago, at Token2049, Andy asked a panel of traders: “What the hell is Pearl?”
Last week, he said he was accumulating.
Now Andy says the store-of-value trade runs in order:
Bitcoin first, then ZEC with 5 to 10x upside, then Pearl as number three.
He’s watching two ratios, Pearl/ZEC and ZEC/BTC, as the signal for the cycle’s highest upside.
He holds Pearl and says he’s still buying.

"What the hell is Pearl?"
Some of the best positions start with a question you can't answer.
Two weeks ago, Andy put Pearl in front of a Token2049 panel full of seasoned traders. Even they didn't have it figured out.
Nobody had a clean answer. Kyle admitted he'd ignored it the whole time and missed it.
So Andy went and did the research himself.
The supply dynamics. The mining rewards. The TAM.
Now he's accumulating.
To be continued.

Early Ethereum bull Evan Van Ness says Pearl mines via matrix multiplication, the same fundamental computation every AI model uses in training and serving queries.
"Originally it was called Impossible Labs."
"Everyone thought that making useful proof of work was just not possible."
"Pearl is mining via arbitrary matrix multiplication."
"Which is what every AI model, every LLM, every machine learning system uses."

Replying to @AnthropicAI
@AnthropicAI’s impressive work on FlashProve is a real signal for the value of @prlnet’s technology in the toolbox of provable inference (PI).
FlashProve proves inference correctness post-hoc. Moving it to real-time proof-of-inference requires time-stamping, which is what blockchains were made for..
The reality is that AI verification often cares about what a datacenter DIDN’T run. Correct inference proofs don’t rule out parallel, unmonitored workloads. @prlnet’s Pearl-GEMM protocol anchors the output to computation (FLOPs). Paired with PI, it could help bound capacity available for unauthorized training, and provide a “model-tracing” audit for agentic workloads.
Pearl is uniquely positioned to build the work-accounting layer of PI infrastructure.

Big news from @AnthropicAI on verifiable LLM inference, with an exciting connection to Pearl’s proof of useful work.
Two orthogonal questions:
• Did the model you paid for actually produce this response?
• Was computational work performed?
Anthropic reports that generating inference proofs currently takes ~70–95× the GPU time of ordinary inference. Pearl’s PoUW, on the contrary, adds negligible overhead. These costs buy different guarantees. Proving correct inference doesn’t automatically establish proof of work and the other way around. But the two are deeply complementary. Verifiable inference could certify which model produced an answer, while Pearl׳s PoUW only certifies that a computation has been done.
As inference proofs get more practical, that combination could make AI easier to trust and more economical to provide.

Alot of talk about Pearl and getting DMs whether there’s room to grow 🧵
$PRL is six months old.
I had my claude pull every wallet on the chain to see who actually holds it, and whether they're selling.
Short version: almost nobody is selling.
22,574 real holders ($100+ in holdings)
123,000 addresses hold PRL, but ONLY 22,574 wallets hold 50+ PRL (≈ $110).
The middle is thick: about 3,500 wallets holding between 10K and 1M PRL own 57% of the supply. Another 9,400 hold 1K–10K.
TLDR: we’re going so much higher

Scarce electricity and power bottlenecks make Bitcoin’s hashrate loss a durable secular trend. BTC has lost its monopoly on the marginal megawatt, which now goes to inference (and Pearl)

Most interesting Pearl chart I've seen. Wallets that mined $PRL in launch week still hold 124M coins. That's 96% of everything they mined and roughly a third of circulating supply. The three biggest (3.86M, 3.31M, 2.75M) haven't moved a single coin since May.
