This morning more than 800 officers took part in an operation targeting an organised crime group. 24 addresses were raided with 17 arrests made.
It followed many months of detailed investigative work in partnership with @TheFCA and @HMRCgovuk.

If you’re visiting a new baby (i.e. they’re not part of your household), always wash your hands before touching and don’t kiss them on the face. It’s also important not to visit at all if you’re ill or have been recently. Watch our brand-new animation on infection prevention here

Good call @dez_holmes much needed, the rites of passage take place in a holistic context not just in relation to the silos we construct. A welcome addition to the canon @HaveringSP !
2 years ago I wondered aloud if it would be useful to have a knowledge briefing about #TransitionalSafeguarding written *by* health professionals *for* health professionals…
And look what @PhilipWinterbo1 @SarahCerioli @melhayward have made!

It was a privilege to give evidence @covidinquiryuk this am. Children suffered disproportionately during the pandemic - often overlooked by decision makers. The impact will be felt by some for decades. Govt must learn from these mistakes & put children first in future emergencies
Bravo Victor for sharing this , a worthy and timely reminder to us all during Black History Month ... and every month of the year !@LBofHavering @HaveringSP

For all those holding and supporting the mental health of others, remember to invest in your own too. On #WorldMentalHealthDay and all those days in between, try soothing your senses to support your own wellbeing.
Here are some suggestions from our psychologist at LIIA:

ALT A grid of six different suggestions for soothing the senses. (1) Go to your favourite place, take in all the sights, look at some photos that make you smile; (2) Listen to your favourite music, create a playlist of your favourite tunes and sing along like no one is listening; (3) Put on your favourite fragrance, use a scented shower gel or light a scented candle; (4) Tickle your taste buds. Cook one of your favourite recipes, eat some of your favourite food or non-alcoholic drink (in moderation); (5) Take a long hot bath or shower, have a cuddle with your cat or dog, hug someone or tuck up under a heavy blanket; (6) Go for a run, stretch, dance, go to the gym. Move your body in whatever way you can.

Yesterday was mental health day within the month of Black History month. There is a lot that is intertwined when black and global majority people make contact with services. It is important to acknowledge and understand the impact of one’s lived experiences.
