After back-to-back weeks of situational errors, it's not hard to see why people are becoming concerned with Jayden Daniels' in-game awareness

Adam Peters acknowledged on @JunksRadio today that the Commanders' run game issues are at least somewhat based on run-blocking issues:
"We need to get better, I don't think there's any skirting around that. We need to get better, we need to get more on the same page.. We're six games in, in a new scheme, and we're going to continue to get better."
Some more context:
1) The Commanders rank 32nd in run block win rate according to ESPN.
2) WSH is 19th in rushing success rate via Sumer Sports, but that includes the Daniels and Martiota explosives on the ground.
3) QB's are averaging 7.94 per carry and RB's are averaging 3.64. RB's have carried the ball 130 times for 473 yards, which is only 3.64 per attempt.

Adam Peters said they started talking about bringing in an experienced defensive coach to work with Daronte Jones in training camp. There haven't been any discussions for a similar hire to work with OC David Blough.

After calling the MNF game, I knew #JaydenDaniels played good, but I noticed something that may be holding him back from being GREAT! Don’t miss the point of this video - it’s not about if he could have made all these plays (especially with the issues around him), it’s about the mentality of believing he’s going to b4 the snap! Trust me, there is a difference with the GREAT ones! Enjoy this #StudyBall & the message within it!

@.russellmania621 revisits the Commanders' handling of Terry McLaurin's contract negotiations. While Chris believes the Commanders mishandled the negotiations, he argues, ultimately, Adam Peters may have been proven right to be cautious about committing big money to Terry.

New All-22 on @SBNationNFL: Jayden Daniels has returned to his 2024 form as a passer and as a runner. But given all the situational issues with the @Commanders right now, will it matter in the end? hogshaven.com/washington-com…

Kevin Sheehan is confident that Jayden Daniels is never going to be rattled by the moment, but believes Commanders HC Dan Quinn may have entered MNF vs. the 49ers "rattled."

Jayden Daniels didn't have any game management issues during 2024, so why two now? Kevin Sheehan thinks it could be plausible that Kliff Kingsbury played a bigger role in that than David Blough is now

What are we to make of Jayden Daniels' situational lapses in the last two games for the Commanders? Ben Standig: "Just very odd choices that he made. It is more of a red flag than the injuries are for me."
