User funds are safe!
It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m).
I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.

I'm thrilled to announce Voyager, a blockchain design for hyperscale agentic payments clocking in at 21M TPS.
3 things worth highlighting:
1. Celestia Labs is one of the best positioned teams to capture the agentic payments opportunity. We have been building towards millions of TPS for over 5 years, when many thought such a feat would be impossible and never needed.
In time, even 21M TPS could look small so we're prepared to scale Voyager far beyond this. Fibre can handle up to ~2B TPS of DA, now it's time to find out what the upper limits on execution are.
2. Voyager marks a significant change in Celestia Labs' capability. We are no longer just providing raw blockspace, we are building the tools to turn that blockspace into useful execution to solve real problems.
When we acquired Sovereign Labs in July, the goal was to do exactly this. Build full stack solutions that encompass DA, execution and beyond. Voyager is just the first product. More to come.
3. Celestia will do more for AI that just power agentic payments. Blockchains provide the ideal substrate for agents to coordinate in both financial and non-financial ways. We also see blockchains as a critical tool for humanity to establish safeguards and maintain governance over agents in the future.
But in order for any of this to work, you need a blockchain that can keep up with the speed and scale of agentic activity. We believe Celestia has a role to play here and we're working towards this.

Major props to the engineering team for reaching yet another major benchmark milestone after hitting 3Tb/s on Fibre just a few weeks ago. Incredible work.
Stay tuned for more details on the technical architecture and our benchmarking setup.
Introducing Voyager: hyperscale payments for agentic commerce.
Benchmarked at 21M TPS, Voyager is a new blockchain architecture for an internet where millions of agents pay for content, data, and services on demand.

Why did @DeriveXYZ , which shoulders 95% of the onchain options market and over $40 billion in cumulative volume, choose @celestia for its V3 architecture?
⬇️Here is the breakdown:
✅Architecture Under the Hood: Why is Derive V3 on Celestia?Predictable and Ultra-Cheap DA Costs: Derive has posted 43,082 blobs (totaling 42.52 GiB of state data) to Celestia since January 2024. Celestia DA is the only way to run high-frequency options operations without fighting gas crises.
✅Ethereum Security + ZK-Proof Verification: Asset custody and security remain on Ethereum L1, order matching is done offchain, state data is posted to Celestia, and ZK-proofs are verified on Ethereum.
✅Key Point: Even if Derive servers go down, because the data on Celestia is 99.99% accessible, users can seamlessly withdraw their assets directly via Ethereum L1.
✅Unconstrained Scale with Fibre: Thanks to the live v10 Fibre upgrade (3.07 Tb/s benchmark capacity), Derive will experience zero bottlenecks on Celestia even as it reaches trillion-dollar TradFi volumes.
✍️Looking at these reasons, Derive continues its operations at a completely advantageous point by leveraging Celestia. Stay tuned.

I think every project and dapp in Cosmos should be looking at moving over to Celestia.
All that talent, all those projects, all that development spread across the ecosystem. Imagine bringing it all under Celestia.
I really think this is the move Cosmos needs to make. $TIA

And just like that @celestia changed what scaling blockchains means, ended the block size debate, and made itself ready for the agentic economy to come.

We’ve benchmarked Fibre at 3 Tb/s, enough for nearly 2 billion transactions a second.
Fibre will launch at 150 MB/s, around 800k TPS and 15x Celestia’s previous capacity, but can be scaled on demand with usage growth.

Thanks! Appreciate all your support
The nice thing about Fibre is that ramping up throughput is somewhat trivial. Validators simply need to increase their bandwidth. So throughput increases can happen quickly and without engineering being a blocker.
The reason not to go straight to 3 Tb/s is that is a LOT of bandwidth and expensive to operate so it only makes sense to do so when we have the demand to pay for it.
As far as our roadmap, we can now turn our core protocol engineering towards other priorities aside from throughput. We have a backlog of things that we've wanted to do but couldn't prioritize, for example post-quantum crypto.
Beyond that, we have been moving our engineering efforts up the stack beyond just DA. More news on that soon.

Very proud of the hard work put into getting Fibre implemented + production ready.
Let's rip this blobspace.

A new era for Celestia begins today.
After 2 years in research and development, Fibre is now live.
Fibre's ~2B TPS of potential throughput capacity is enough to fit all the sci-fi visions of the agentic economy and high frequency trading onchain.

ive been buying zec, near, lit over the last few months but it always felt really consensus. i still think these networks do well but it felt off because buying eventual outperformers in previous bears were tokens that were hated Eth @ $80, Sol post ftx, tia feels like this now.

appreciate the love, and you can choose your preferred networks for the methodology. i stacked tia this bear because it has many similarities to prior networks that i experienced asymmetric upside with from similar levels: strong team unwavering in commitment, building mission critical infrastructure, mostly hated because the coin went up a lot, and then went down a lot. anyone who digs deep respects the merits of what the team is building. currently sits at ~$700M FDV, I'll take the asymmetry.
I’m seeing so many posts claiming $TIA has a cliff unlock on 30 Oct. It’s the opposite!
Core contributor vesting ends, cutting daily unlocks 46.5% to 183,390 TIA. Only R&D remains until 30 Oct 2027.
Bullish with Fibre launching too!

The agentic economy won't grow linearly. It'll go from ~0 to dwarfing the human economy faster than anyone expects.
Today's blockspace won't come close to handling that demand. Fibre can.
We're not waiting for that future - we're building and experimenting our way there.
