Something new is taking shape at PadCare. We've been working quietly behind the scenes on something that marks a new chapter in our journey. Bigger. Bolder. And built with the same mission at its core... to make sanitary waste recycling more scalable and accessible. Coming soon.

Some of the hardest problems to solve are the ones we’ve learned to look away from. Sanitary waste was one of them. What started with a question about what happens to a used sanitary pad has taken us through years of R&D, technology development, reverse logistics, processing infrastructure and, most importantly, a growing team committed to changing what happens after disposal. Thank you, @SocialAlphaIN , for telling the PadCare story and for capturing the people, science and persistence behind the journey. There is still a long way to go. And we’re excited about what comes next. From taboo to technology. From waste to resources. @Ajinkya_Dhariya youtu.be/asY2CCBfRsY?si=eQTr…

A proud moment for @PadcareL . We’re thrilled to see Shriniwas Adhe, Founding Member and R&D, Engineering Lead at PadCare, recognised among @SustainBW's Sustainability 40 Under 40 – Class of 2026. Since the early days of PadCare, Shriniwas has been at the heart of our R&D & Engineering journey — working on some of the hardest scientific and engineering challenges involved in recycling sanitary waste. From developing processes and technologies to continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, his work has played a critical role in helping us move from an idea to a technology-driven circular waste management company. This recognition celebrates not just an individual, but the curiosity, persistence and scientific thinking that goes into building solutions for problems that have been overlooked for far too long. Congratulations, Shriniwas! We’re incredibly proud to have you building with us. Here’s to many more experiments, breakthroughs and new possibilities ahead.

Sustainability becomes meaningful when commitment turns into measurable action. @MahindraUni responsibly disposed 328 kg of sanitary pads and saved 703 kg of carbon emissions during FY 2025–26. Proud to recognise the University as a Sustainability Champion for making responsible menstrual hygiene management part of everyday campus life. Congratulations to the entire Mahindra University team, and especially Prof. Shivdasini S Amin, and the leadership team for driving this initiative.
Mahindra University has received the Sustainability Champion Award from @PadcareL in recognition of its contribution towards environmental sustainability during FY 2025–26. #MahindraUniversity #Sustainability #SustainabilityChampion

we've been building in the femtech / sustainable hygiene space for a while now. the number of founders who've never actually talked to a woman in a rural area about her period is… a lot. we started there. not with a pitch deck. not with a TAM slide. with conversations that were uncomfortable and honest and slow. that's where PadCare Labs actually came from. every product decision we've made since traces back to those early talks. if you're building something for a population that's been ignored, that's the only place to start.

@PadcareL has been nominated for the Social Enterprise category at the ETtech Economic Times Startup Awards 2026. Under the leadership of @Ajinkya_Dhariya, the company has engineered a capital-efficient circular system to solve an overlooked environmental crisis. Sanitary waste management remains a critical sanitation challenge. Standard sanitary pads contain nearly ninety percent plastic by weight and require up to eight hundred years to decompose, releasing microplastics and methane. PadCare has developed India's first patented loop sanitary pad recycling technology. The system recovers and reuses more than ninety percent of pad materials. The proprietary 5D processing technology sanitizes and separates unsorted waste into purified cellulose and plastic granules, converting a hazardous waste stream into high-value raw materials. We are proud to back Ajinkya and the team as they establish a highly scalable, climate-positive model for industrial waste recovery. When your investor doesn't just back you with capital but takes the time to understand the work this deeply — that is something else. Thank you, Abhinav Singh Negi. What gets measured gets managed. That is exactly what WMHI is built on. Link in comments.

Progress begins with institutions willing to lead by example. We are honoured to partner with @iitbbs, the first IIT in India to implement a scientific and sustainable menstrual waste management system with PadCare. Here's to @iitbbs inspiring many more campuses across India.
🌱 A First for the IIT System. A Step Forward for Sustainability. IIT Bhubaneswar has become the first IIT in India to partner with PadCare Labs Pvt. Ltd. for sustainable menstrual waste management. ♻️ Through the launch of the EcoSustain Initiative, the Institute is pioneering a scientific and environmentally responsible approach to menstrual hygiene waste by enabling the safe collection, recycling, and transformation of sanitary waste into valuable resources. As part of the initiative, PadCare SafeBox units have been installed across the residential campus, promoting hygienic disposal while advancing the principles of a circular economy. The collaboration also includes awareness programmes to encourage responsible menstrual hygiene and sustainable waste disposal practices. This initiative reflects IIT Bhubaneswar's continued commitment to environmental sustainability, responsible resource management, and creating a cleaner, greener campus for all. #IITBhubaneswar #EcoSustain #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #MenstrualHygiene #WasteManagement #EnvironmentalSustainability #SwachhBharat #PadCare #GreenCampus #ResponsibleInnovation @PadcareL
