Govt should be so small and inconsequential to our lives that it matters not who is elected.

Today is the 109th anniversary of one of the worst disasters to strike human civilisation. Lenin's Bolshevik putsch in Petrograd, which overthrew Russia's first democracy and began 70 years of murder, theft and persecution. Imperial Germany arranged this event and paid for it.

I realised yesterday that what I most admire about Christ's teaching is that it's NOTHING to do with power
Whereas Islamic teaching is LARGELY to do with power

Modern Socialism: Make it harder to start a business. Act surprised that the same giant companies keep winning. Blame capitalism. Demand more rules.
Crony corporations must love this revolution.

🤣
It is 2045.
Aontu & Independent Ireland are reaping the fruits of their decision to merge and send their leadership on a summer camp to the Mises Institute back in 2028, by being the provisional caretaker government of the new Republic, which is a 32 county decentralised federal system where the sole role of government is national defence, policing, judiciary and a fire service, protecting its citizens private property rights solely.
The market economy is thriving, with Ireland's GDP per capita the highest in the world, with no new currency creation since the constitutional amendment of 2035 banned the practice.
Ireland is recognised worldwide as a hub for AI and Nuclear, with cheap and abundant energy and deflation driving the cost of all goods and services down year to year, as purchasing power increases continuously.
Despite the amendment of a constitutional right to bear arms in 2037, there have been zero gun deaths, and social cohesion is at its highest since Italia 90.
The Irish football team are on a high having won the 2044 World Cup, with the grandkids and great grandkids of Roy Keane and Packie Bonner playing huge roles in our defeat of the English in the final.
Socialism is seen as an archaic, feudal like system with it's last few dying proponents seen as uneducated lepers.
There is no such thing as a Barista.

Well, now I am a free man and the dust is starting to settle I can now be FULLY transparent without repercussion.
@GlobalAffairs, aka, @elonmusk picked up the legal tab for my court proceedings these past few months.
This was only possible due to the relentless hard work of @ezralevant of @RebelNewsOnline who not only brought @laoisedebrun on board with Padraig Langsch, but pressed X legal department to pursue my case in the interests of Free Speech.
Waking up a free man after two years of daily persecution is a strange but liberating feeling.
I will continue to promote irishfreespeech.com for the cases of @RossLahive1 and Hugh Fagan who are facing Lawfare outside of X's remit and require funding so Laoise and Padraig can clear their names too.
Today, Irish citizen journalist Kirk Loco was acquitted at Bray District Court of a criminal charge under Ireland's "Coco's Law." X is proud to have funded Kirk's defense.
Kirk's alleged offense was a single post on X relaying a teenage girl's account of a migrant man exposing himself to her on a local bus. Kirk was arrested at his home and faced up to two years in prison.
The court found the State had not proved its case. "Grossly offensive" speech is not defined anywhere in the law. Vague laws like this invite abuse.
We will keep standing with users who report on matters of public concern.

One consequence arising from the consent ad is this;
If so many people seem to be so willing to apply what are adult sexual-consent rules to such obvious non-sexual, non-predatory contexts, then how can sexual assault statistics be taken at face value?
Things like this hurt real victims of actual sexual assault.

“In the long run, government will spend whatever the tax system will raise, plus as much more as it can get away with. That’s what history tells us.”
“So my view has always been: cut taxes on any occasion, for any reason, in any way that’s politically feasible, as the only way to keep down the size of government.”
Great speech by Marco at one of the birthplaces of Western Civilization today. Our friends in Europe face a stark choice: decline or renewal. I hope they choose wisely.

Something I've noticed on X since Oct 7th 2023, many Irish pro-pals seemingly survived the famine, the Tan war, the Battle of the Bogside and even retain a strong folk memory of the Cromwellian Plantation..
Hence 'our' strong emotional ties with Hamas.
