There are 6 (SIX) geopolitical zones in this country, comprising of 36 states and the FCT.
The total number of Yoruba states is 6.
Take out the SW block, you would still have is 30 states + FCT left to contest in. So you can DEFINITELY win without the Yorubas. The constitution only requires you to win 25% in 24 states to meet the territorial spread requirement. So, your zone and three other zones will do the trick.
You do NOT need the SW block to support you to win the Presidency. Instead of always crying hate and victim, why not just extend olive branches across the Niger and to your immediate neighbors, forge partnerships and strike deals.
Why is your focus ALWAYS on Yorubas? We aren’t even neighbors on the geopolitical zones’ boundary.
A Yoruba candidate won the election without votes from the South East. He didn’t cry hatred when he couldn’t secure 5% of the votes. He understood that it is politics.
This is the political arena, if you want to win, you must forge partnerships.
