Prohibition and opioid deprescribing are two of the most profound government-induced death campaigns of the last century. They have criminalized doctors (or deputized them as med cops) and justified racist structural oppression by police, child welfare, landlords & employers
If people want to use the cocaine they should be able to buy a safeR product.
It's quite a madness when the government prescribes death as the cure while telling you the actual cure (for some) is what is dangerous.
Thanks to an offline gift, we are at 80% of our goal!
To my fellow pain advocates & harm reduction peers: your support means everything.

It was primarily pain advocates and online friends who stepped up to carry us. Knowing many fellow advocates donated while on strict, low-income budgets moves us deeply.
No action went unnoticed—whether you donated, shared, or sent love, every single effort mattered.

Can someone explain how both of these narratives are supposed to be true?
Pain patients are accused of “just wanting opioids” instead of treating the underlying cause.
But when they push for imaging, a diagnosis, or answers about what is actually causing their pain, suddenly they’re “too focused on finding something wrong.”
So which is it?
Apparently wanting pain relief is suspicious, and wanting to know WHY you’re in pain is suspicious too.
Very convenient.

Great article! The 2016 CDC Opioid Guidelines were largely based on junk science. They ignored bioavailability and genetics.

My youngest brother passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 11. He was recently homeless and had no assets, and we’re struggling with his final expenses.
Any donation or share is deeply appreciated.

A 15-year-old student has drawn global attention after developing a device capable of detecting pancreatic cancer at its earliest stages. This matters because pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers largely due to late diagnosis.
The invention is a low-cost sensor designed to identify specific biological markers linked to early pancreatic tumors. Unlike traditional tests that can take days or weeks, this device delivers results in just minutes.
Medical experts reviewing the project noted that the technology could dramatically improve survival rates if deployed widely. Early detection allows treatment to begin sooner, when outcomes are far more favorable.
What surprised researchers most was the depth of understanding behind the invention. The teenager studied existing diagnostic limitations and engineered a solution that addresses both speed and affordability.
The breakthrough has earned international awards and scientific recognition, sparking discussion about how much potential remains untapped in young innovators. It highlights how curiosity, access to knowledge, and support can lead to life-changing discoveries.

What kills people is the drug policy.
The only difference between this and this is the time period.
It's a choice to make people buy mystery drugs from gangsters.

4/In this episode, we also ask why a former federal official would write an editorial pleading for an opioid-free health care system, with serious factual errors, without disclosing he's being paid $60,000 by the maker of a new non-opioid medication

I remember being absolutely pissed off when I read what 'qualified' one as having Complex Persistent Opioid Dependence. Now, it appears that they've dropped that 'dx' and have called it simply prescription opioid use disorder. 🤦🏻♀️🤬 – at Pottstown, PA

It's actually a Democide by definition in every way. The intentional or known harming & killing of the civilian population by Government, through Policy, neglect, action or inaction. It's profitable Prohibition Policy, causing the #PainCrisis & fully intentional

People don't ban drugs out of safety reasons.
No one is made safer when they are forced to buy their drugs from unregulated markets.
People ban them out of perceived morality and dishonesty.
