Janet Jackson’s vocal talent is seriously underrated. Jimmy Jam has explained how her harmonies are layered on the a cappella version of “Doesn’t Really Matter,” and it shows just how much artistry goes into her sound. Janet’s strength isn’t about showing off vocal runs or hitting the highest notes. It’s about layering, texture, phrasing, rhythm, and knowing how to make every vocal part work together. She, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis created a signature sound that’s instantly recognizable. People praise Mariah Carey’s vocal arrangements and Brandy’s harmonies, but Janet deserves far more recognition for her own vocal artistry. You don’t have to outsing everyone to be a master of your craft. #JanetJackson #Vocals

I vowed to bring my mom to Hayvenhurst and I got to do just that. I carry her DNA, her heart, and her spirit. Seeing how many people helped make her dream come true reminds me: our legacy lives in the people we touch. She will never be forgotten. #ThrillerChallenge2026

🚨 IF “THRILLER” HITS NO. 1, MICHAEL JACKSON COULD MAKE BILLBOARD HISTORY AGAIN! 👑🧟‍♂️ “Thriller” is blowing up ahead of Halloween, and the possibility of a Hot 100 comeback is getting more exciting by the day! 🎃 THE TARGET: November 3, 2026 📊 BILLBOARD HOT 100: Dated November 14, 2026 🏆 THE GOAL: NO. 1! If “Thriller” reaches the summit, it would become Michael Jackson’s 14th solo Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, and believe it or not, the six-decade chart-history milestone is already in the books. Thanks to “Chicago,” Michael became the first artist to chart on the Hot 100 across 6 consecutive decades, spanning since the 1970s through the 2020s. So, this isn’t about repeating a record that’s already been achieved. It’s about giving one of the most iconic songs in music history the No. 1 position it never reached during its original run, when it peaked at No. 4 in 1984. HALLOWEEN IS THE MOMENT. THE HOT 100 IS THE TARGET. LET’S MAKE HISTORY AGAIN! 🧟‍♂️🔥 Stream “Thriller.” Buy the eligible single. Spread the word. Every legitimate contribution matters. #MichaelJackson #Thriller #ThrillerChallenge #BillboardHot100 #KingOfPop

The audacity of Haghives to say this when your fav is supremely overrated, yet put on a pedestal despite having zero songwriting talent. Meanwhile, MJ was a musical genius who wrote & composed some of the biggest hits in music history. Never compare this talentless flop to MJ.
Michael’s talent consisted of him sliding his feet across the room but somehow he tricked y'all into thinking he's the second coming of Jesus

THIS IS FOR YOU FUCKING IDIOTS WHO STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY CALIFORNIA HIGH-SPEED RAIL HAS TAKEN SO LONG. WE VOTED FOR IT IN 2008. THAT DIDN'T MEAN TRAINS WOULD MAGICALLY APPEAR THE FOLLOWING MORNING. You're building a massive railroad across an entire state, through farmland, towns, cities, highways, existing rail corridors and privately owned property. That means environmental reviews, land acquisition, relocating utilities, redesigning infrastructure, permits and years of engineering. And when the route is mapped out and the state tries to move forward? Local governments, landowners and other opponents can SUE. Court cases can drag on for years, especially when environmental law, property rights and public funding are involved. A voter-approved project doesn't magically become immune to lawsuits. And let's be honest: litigation, funding problems, ballooning costs and mismanagement have ALL contributed to the delays. Holding officials accountable is fair. Pretending the entire project has been sitting idle because building a railroad is supposedly a stupid idea is not. Now the Los Angeles-to-Anaheim segment is approaching its final environmental clearance. That doesn't mean the entire system is finished, but it does mean another major legal and planning hurdle is being addressed. HERE'S THE FUCKING POINT: YOU CAN'T DEMAND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONS, PROPERTY RIGHTS AND DUE PROCESS, THEN ACT SURPRISED WHEN FOLLOWING THOSE RULES TAKES YEARS. Everyone who spends hours bitching about California traffic while mocking public transportation: WHOSE FAULT IS IT THAT WE'RE SO DEPENDENT ON CARS? You don't have to support every decision made by the rail authority. Question the costs. Criticize the management. Demand accountability. Taxpayers absolutely deserve that, but laughing at an infrastructure project because it takes years to navigate construction, litigation and environmental approvals, while simultaneously complaining about traffic, is the height of intellectual laziness. WE VOTED FOR A RAILROAD. NOW LET'S FINISH THE JOB AND HOLD THE PEOPLE BUILDING IT ACCOUNTABLE. BECAUSE COMPLAINING ABOUT TRAFFIC WHILE MOCKING ALTERNATIVES ISN'T A SOLUTION. IT'S JUST FUCKING HYPOCRISY. ocregister.com/2026/10/21/ca…
