These four mums are caring for their sons who have complex needs that result in distressing and harmful behaviour.

In my 23 years as a teacher our profession has never given parents’ views the status and respect they so obviously deserve. It’s so counterproductive. Far easier to characterise as difficult, sharp-elbowed and unreasonable.

The Carer's Leave Act comes into force in GB tomorrow, but those juggling caring and employment in NI will be left behind.
We're urging @conormurphysf to go a step further and include paid carer's leave in the Employment Rights Bill. It makes moral, financial & economic sense.
