Nine days to comment on proposed changes to a complex law? If Alberta Government wanted to telegraph how much it will allow its pet industry to abuse landowners and land, this serves that purpose. This law governs cleanup of well sites, facility sites, pipeline rights of way.
Albertans and all landowners!
There are major and important changes being contemplated regarding environmental regulations in Alberta.
The deadline for submissions is October 30, 2026.
DO NOT miss your opportunity to comment.
The last thing the energy industry deserves at this juncture is more leniency and regulatory relief!
And keep in mind these changes will impact crown land as well. If you are an Albertan, you are a landowner!
Please participate!

What they left out of Economics class:
You cannot eat GDP.
You cannot drink GDP.
You cannot breathe GDP.
You CAN live without endless GDP growth. You cannot live without a planet.
Hey Alberta: is this incompetence or a full on intentional lie?

I saw no women being assaulted. I saw no nose picking. I saw no ear wax eating. I heard no stories about menβs asses. I heard no strange burping noises, no slurring, no moaning.
And I heard no songs about homosexual hook ups at the local gym while an old fat man wearing makeup danced like he was wanking 2 giraffes.
I didnβt see or hear any of that during Barack Obamaβs speeches today.
Just an adult speaking in complete sentences to an audience who appreciated every word.
It was nice.
