What a beautiful Sunday afternoon for a canvass launch in Sandy Springs! 🍑☀️
We had a special guest today: Judge Penny Brown Reynolds, our Democratic nominee for Georgia Secretary of State!
Judge Penny gave a heartfelt speech about democracy, public service, and standing up for what we believe in. She shared stories about her upbringing, reflected on Georgia’s civil rights history, and reminded us why the work we’re doing matters.
We didn’t have a huge crowd, but that didn’t stop me from enthusiastically pumping my hands in the air! 😂 At one point, Judge Penny noticed and said, “Look at this over here. He’s just so excited.”
My response? “I’m stoked, Judge Penny!” 😂
She later asked us to share what we believe in. I told her that, as an autistic Jewish man, I believe in a fair and equitable society that helps everybody, not just a select few.
I’ve gotten to know Judge Penny since the Democratic primary, and one thing I absolutely love about her is how friendly and down-to-earth she is. I told her as much today and joked, “Must be that Southern upbringing!” She laughed and thanked me. ❤️
It was also wonderful seeing Beth Fuller, Kevin Abel, Bryce Berry, and our dedicated volunteers.
After Judge Penny left, I hit the streets of Sandy Springs and knocked 42 doors!
Nine days until Election Day, and there’s still work to be done! 🗳️💙

"What do you think the mainstream media is missing about this election?"
@KamalaHarris: "What they are not seeing is that the people are really done with everything that is broken: the corruption, the callousness, the recklessness. People are ready to stop the pain. People are ready to turn their anger into action by voting."

Happy Birthday @HillaryClinton ! 🥳🎂 (If you’re my mom, then it’s “My Hillary!”)
Wish I got to vote for Hillary 10 years ago, but I was too young. To me, she will always be Madam President! 🇺🇸
Thank you Hillary for staying in the fight! PS- You were right about everything! 💙

@KamalaHarris to @CNN backstage before her speech at the rally in Mississippi:
"There are so many people who were devastated with the outcome of that election — for good reason, for really good reason. That pain, it lingers, because every day we are witnessing events that we know didn’t have to happen. Could have been different."

I’ve heard a lot of people say that Warnock would automatically best her in the South because, as another Black candidate, he’d pose a real threat to her winning the nomination.
This proves that that isn’t necessarily the case.
"Sen. Warnock, who's considering a presidential run and was a main engine [for] Colom’s race, drew 100 people when he came to the state. Harris had over 1,000 on their feet in the gym, with an RSVP list that had to be closed because of the fire marshal."

It's irritating how people (not you, you are cool) but how others reduce the Black vote to we only vote for someone because they are Black, it's not necessarily true. Harris is the most qualified and has more to offer in helping people's lives & fixing this country than Warnock.
HBCU'S don't discriminate, ask Rich Mccormick, graduate of Morehouse School of Medicine ,An ER Dr,but supports closing hospitals, against Medicaid/Medicare, Against the ACA,A Marine, supports cutting Vets benefits, support this war of choice, what is he for? 🤔
