The richest 1% accumulated nearly twice as much wealth as the rest of the world put together over the past two years. It's not radical to tax the rich. It's radical to allow this level of extreme wealth concentration to continue.

Workers are not “paid what their worth.” According to this mythology, workers at the bottom are “unskilled” and don’t deserve more than what they currently earn. It's a myth peddled by the rich to exploit you. There’s no such thing as unskilled workers. Only underpaid workers.

Phoenix is the largest city in the country without passenger rail service. Today, @Amtrak's CEO said it's 'an embarrassment' that such a major city isn't connected. I'm focused on leveraging the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding to bring Amtrak service back to Phx⬇️

Since 1978, CEO pay has increased by 1,460%. Yes, you read that correctly. So don’t tell me that corporations can’t afford to pay workers higher wages and provide decent benefits.

Colgate-Palmolive, which controls 40% of the toothpaste market, has increased prices 12% even as volume declined by 2%. As a result, the company's profits have soared. Greed and market concentration are driving inflation, not workers demanding better wages and benefits.

Arizona has eliminated juvenile court fees, joining an increasing number of states nationwide that have done so in recent years. Getting the bill passed wasn’t easy, said Erika Ovalle, who co-founded Puente Human Rights Movement and Decarcerate AZ and has advocated for the reform of juvenile court fees. This was the third year that similar legislation was introduced in the state. “It’s one way to get a barrier removed off our backs,” she said. "I’ve been organizing for a long time, and to finally see a bill be passed to help young people thrive is a major step." azcentral.com/story/news/pol…

Arizona's universal voucher program is now on track to cost the state $900 MILLION per year. We need to repeal this totally unaccountable and out-of-control program before it completely bankrupts our state.

Right now, House Republicans are demanding we pinch pennies on programs like food assistance & health care for families. Next month, they want to roll out a plan that hands trillions in tax cuts to big corporations & the wealthy. This is not fiscal responsibility. It’s cruelty.

🚨 JUST IN: ESA vouchers are projected to bankrupt the state by next year, costing $900M by July ‘24. There is no funding for this unaccountable, unbudgeted program — but our leaders are sitting idly while public education is destroyed in front of our eyes. #AZVoucherWatch
