There is no magic dirt. Everything is downstream of culture.
It's actually not a miracle, it's very simple. Tokyo is clean and safe because it's full of Japanese. Seoul is clean and safe because it's full of Koreans. Ask yourself what the filthiest and most dangerous cities are, and who inhabits them?

You do something like this to one of my cats and I'm going to make the events of John Wick look like a 1980's after-school special.
An Amazon driver appears to throw a package directly at a cat sitting on someone's front steps then seems to smile afterward. What an asshole... he should get fired for this.

I still can't believe I didn't get fired when I told the HR Director at my gig at that time she would be remembered like the Vichy French. She didn't get the reference.
Adam Carolla tells The Atlantic to “F*CK OFF” and “EAT SH*T” for demanding you forgive the people who tried to destroy your life over a COVID shot. He shows their previous headlines on the screen, and it’s not pretty. CAROLLA: “Of course all the people who wanted everyone drawn and quartered for not getting vaccinated or wearing a mask want a f*cking amnesty.” “Suck my dick, f*ck off, Atlantic, and eat sh*t, because you guys all deserve whatever the f*ck you’re getting.” “BUT THE MAIN THING YOU’RE GETTING IS NO ONE’S GOING TO LISTEN TO YOU EVER AGAIN.” THE ATLANTIC THEN: “The Anti-Vaccine Right Brought Human Sacrifice to America” “Unvaccinated People Need to Bear the Burden” “Vaccine Refusers Don’t Get to Dictate Terms Anymore” “Some Americans No Longer Believe in the Common Good” THE ATLANTIC, YEARS LATER: “Let’s Declare a Pandemic Amnesty” “We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.” First of all, forgiveness comes AFTER you apologize. Your headline should be “We’re sorry. We acted like monsters.” Not “we were in the dark about COVID” and didn’t know any better. You didn’t know any better because you CENSORED people like us. Screw off Atlantic. No Amnesty.

There was once a shepherd who found a wolf caught in a snare at the edge of his pasture. The wolf begged to be freed. “I was hungry,” it said. “That is all. Spare me, and I will remember your mercy!” The shepherd cut the rope. The next night, three lambs were gone. Again the shepherd found the wolf. Again it pleaded. Again the shepherd convinced himself that mercy was proof of his goodness. By winter, half the flock was dead. An old farmer finally asked him, “Why do you keep freeing it?” The shepherd answered, “Because I refuse to become cruel.” The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.” That’s the lesson. Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.

Oh, I don't know, maybe he did it because you're running on a platform of "let's take all of Elon Musk's stuff and throw him in the gulag"?
Elon Musk is dumping half a billion dollars into Republican races. Why? Because Democrats in Congress won’t be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and will actually fight to lower costs.

NEWSFLASH: Dominion CTO Eric Coomer’s libel case against me for saying Dominion’s equipment rigs elections was just thrown out by the judge on summary judgment. Trial was supposed to start next Wednesday, but the judge read our evidence and realized I was correct. No libel.

On Saturday I told you Austin was outvoting West Texas. The gap got WIDER. Travis County: 27.0% of voters have voted. Ector: 12.9%. Midland: 18.6%. Andrews: 14.9%. Winkler: 5.0%. Permian Basin, you've got until Friday. Fix it. We can't afford to surrender to a single Marxist.

Contrast this with people today who call for infanticide to be legal because "feelings".
If someone asks you how much a single baby's life is worth to the United States Air Force, tell them about the night an American fighter squadron scrambled a supersonic interceptor for a five-month-old boy. On December 23, 1986, five-month-old Andrew Baumann was dying of heart failure in California after his parents had already lost his baby sister to the same condition. Near midnight in Fargo, North Dakota, a donor heart finally became available, but the civilian medical jet broke down on the freezing tarmac with the four-hour survival window ticking away. Civilian doctors could not ride in a fighter jet without ejection-seat training and high-altitude pressure suits. Sixteen minutes after a desperate 2:00 a.m. phone call to the North Dakota Air National Guard, First Lieutenant Robert Becklund climbed up the ladder of a McDonnell Douglas F-4D Phantom II. He strapped a red-and-white plastic cooler holding the tiny heart directly into the back ejection seat. At 3:06 a.m. on Christmas Eve, Becklund blasted off alone into the dark winter sky and pushed his twin-engine fighter close to six hundred miles per hour across fifteen hundred miles. He touched down at Moffett Naval Air Station at 4:43 a.m. Even after seven and a half hours outside a body, that tiny heart beat strong inside Andrew's chest, and the boy grew up to graduate college and get married. A superpower is measured by how fast its deadliest machines fly to save its smallest citizen.

The greatest crime-prevention story in America has a catastrophic problem for television journalism: nobody's dead. No grieving mother. No bloodstained sidewalk. No candlelight vigil. No heartbreaking photographs of a young woman whose life was stolen. Absolutely fucking terrible television. America's homicide rate reportedly fell 18% from 2024 to 2025. Carrie Lukas estimates that broader policy changes spared approximately 5,000 lives. Meanwhile, Trump's immigration crackdown is removing dangerous criminals from American communities. But how the hell do you make a gripping investigative special about a woman who walked home safely? There's no crime scene to photograph. No devastated family to interview. No memorial slideshow accompanied by mournful piano music. Some poor television producer would have to explain that the victim is currently making dinner, watching Netflix, and completely unaware she might have been tomorrow's headline. What a journalistic nightmare. Fortunately, ICE arrests provide much better material. During Operation Rotten Apple, federal agents arrested more than 2,000 illegal aliens in New York, including individuals with convictions for murder, kidnapping, rape, and drug trafficking. And suddenly the media has something to work with! Controversy! Outrage! Emotional interviews! Politicians furiously denouncing federal enforcement! The convicted murderer becomes an immigration controversy. The deportation becomes a humanitarian crisis. The sanctuary politician becomes a courageous defender of compassion. Meanwhile, the potential victims remain inconveniently alive, making them spectacularly useless to the evening news. Nobody can calculate precisely how many future crimes those arrests prevented. But removing dangerous offenders eliminates opportunities for them to create more victims. Apparently, that accomplishment lacks the necessary production value. And therein lies the magnificent, grotesque absurdity of modern political journalism: An immigration arrest can become a national tragedy before the evening broadcast, while the murder it may have prevented doesn't even qualify for the news ticker.
