OKC went ahead and added two rotational pieces via the draft today in Bennett Stirtz & Aday Mara, and here they are linking up Stirtz ability to initiate the offense & create buckets for himself and others is exactly why the Thunder traded up for him

The Chicago FO said they were prioritizing Size, Length, Athleticism, and Physicality going forward And Dailyn Swain checks all of those boxes At 6’7”+ in shoes and with a 6’10” wing span, Dailyn is a plus athlete with tremendous feel & shiftiness

I think there’s a misconception about Tyran Stokes being over reliant on his size and athleticism In actuality, he’s very skilled and can initiate an offense with his handle and playmaking but uses his physical and athletic gifts as just another tool

Karim is the same height as Boozer. Registered the biggest hands at the combine, tied with Quaintance. Wing projection

Henri Veesar may have fallen out of the first round, but he and his team maneuvered himself towards a prime landing spot in Atlanta His offensive skillset should play well off of Jalen Johnson’s (and Kingston Fleming’s) playmaking and gravity

Mikel Brown Jr. has everything you want in a potential 1A scorer He’s not just deadly from 3, but he’s also able to break down defenders with his handle and get into the paint And, on top of all that, he has the mentality to thrive as a go-to option

Chris Paul Jr. has a good claim to that title, but I believe it truly belongs to JJ Crawford
Not sure I have ever seen a player play, and look, more like their Dad

Great pick by Charlotte, Taking Hannes Steinbach. He will really boost their frontcourt talent not only with his relentless tenacity in the boards, but also with his great feel and ability to make the right play. Has a bit more juice to his offensive game than you may expect.

Karim Lopez with force Same BLOB play twice, a dive for Karim + mismatch. Draws foul first time, finishes second time. A KL believer will see a physical role wing with OTD precocity and think of late-blooming ⭐️s: Deni, Jalen J. I’m not there, but I see an underrated floor.

Yaxel Lendeborg, plug-n-play vet as a rookie… 6’9, 7’3, 240lbs. 23.5yo, but the 2nd best AGE-ADJUSTED defensive impact in the NCAA. Some dribble/pass/shoot on O. Hits the glass. Motor. Pushes pace. Do-it-all jumbo wing with limited developmental runway.

Insane draw by the coach to clear the lane and flip a defensive gamelan into an exploit.
This is elite “Rocket” action against Hard Hedging Teams Good coaches can dice up defenses if they study the game (Via @CoachHackGO 🎥)

And, just like that, Darius Acuff Jr. has silenced everyone who’s doubted him Because how can you continue disrespecting someone who dropped 49 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 50 minutes on 16-27 shooting with just ONE turnover???

Aday has been addressing some of my concerns with him in this year’s cycle; his form on the jumper is looking fluid; great energy transfer all the way up and finish with a high release. Always a savant at cutter reads, he’s starting to find shooters too.

At 7’3 with a long wingspan and historic block numbers he’s getting harder to overlook in lottery conversations, especially as the NBA trends taller and taller. This class is STACKED though and sorting through lottery and not is hell on earth.

Mikel had a slump and a lot of people’s opinions on him solidified but at 6’5 with prototypical NBA height, and craft over athleticism he fits the direction of the modern NBA and is a great offensive hub.

Oh my goodness Mikel Brown Jr. You didn’t have to do them like that; there’s like 3 levels of defence manipulation here, this kid isn’t getting the love he deserves as a creator.

Shooting has always been the swing skill for Nolan Traore, whose elite trait has been his speed and quickness But if Traore can prove that he’s a reliable threat from 3? Man, his ceiling is so high and he’d have a De’Aaron Fox-esque game
