@PostscriptIO's data says that’s exactly when you should send.

Yesterday I joined a call with a well known 9-figure brand that's been on @PostscriptIO for a few months.
I was very pleased to see that all 5 AI products they're using are driving meaningful gains proven by holdout test:
- AI Popup Retrigger: 23% increase in opt ins 📈
- AI Infinity Test Automations: 26% increase in revenue per message 💰
- AI Infinity Test Campaigns: 30% increase in revenue per message + 🤖 has beat control on all 100% of campaigns
- Shopper Responses: $50k incremental revenue, 278x ROI 🗣️
- Most importantly, Shopper Automations (creates bespoke 1:1 automation flows for subscribers): 78% lower unsubscribe rate + 35% increase in revenue per message 💸
Pretty crazy.
Including screenshots as evidence.
Here's my question - if you're a @PostscriptIO customer why aren't you using these?

It's election season, and I'm here to talk politics.
Building a business is hard enough.
And sendflation is a disease in an otherwise moral ecom society. It must end.
So today, we're doing something about it.
Excited to launch Sendflation.
Together, we can bring an end to Sendflation once and for all 🤝

Major win for ecommerce businesses: California SB 690 is now law.
The bill curbs one of the most aggressive California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA) litigation theories used against businesses over routine website technologies.
The EIA strongly supported this reform along with @YesOnSB690 and worked to help push it across the finish line.

I love the business we've built, and I spend most of my waking hours thinking about how to make it better. But I welcome the competition, and I thrive off it.
It makes me, the team, and our service better. The winner is the customer.
@PostscriptIO just launched an email product, and just like I welcome competition for my own business, I'm excited about this too.
They have a great team, great reputation, and a strong focus on delivering results. When a company with that track record says they're going to do something, I pay attention.
Congrats to @ringmybeller , @mikemanheimer and team. Excited to see what you all have cooked up.
Everyone will continue getting better, and the customer will still be the ultimate winner.

It's both good and bad
But know this--> lots more innovation for PS 2.0 soon

I’ve been a Postscript fanboy since day 1, I was also one of their first ecommerce/Shopify advisors.
I was really bullish when I first started using it and after today’s overview of 2.0 (sms+email) I am even more excited about it what the future holds. Even beyond what this means for a company I’m involved with, this is going to push the entire marketing platform standard so much further ahead which is an industry win. Postscript has always pushed the agenda and it’s benefited them don’t get me wrong, but the community as a whole wins when someone is so dedicated to pushing the industry standard the way Postscript has.
There will always be other options, cheaper options, but from a VALUE perspective nothing comes close. Postscript is helping brands make more money across the board and is far from the most expensive option.
@ecommcowboy give Beller a big kiss on the forehead for me, 10/10 no notes 2.0 launch event was perfect.
This launch is a huge moment for @PostscriptIO and for the broader ecom industry. I'm equal parts nervous and excited.

I got a sneak peak of this. And spent a lot of time talking to Adam the CEO and their amazing head of product recently in Bozeman.
They literally rebuilt their entire system to be AI native and support this.
Some of the new features are mind-blowingly cool.
Would highly consider it.

we've gone f̵o̵u̵n̵d̵e̵r̵ ̵m̵o̵d̵e̵ broccoli mode🥦
Why Co-CEOs for our $150M+ ARR startup?
because the broccoli 🥦 haired 20 year olds in SF are coming for our lunch.
We’re 8 years into building, geriatric in AI terms.
IMO the only way to compete with these fools is to embrace the broccoli energy ourselves.
that’s the thinking with Co-CEOs:
1. I build the version of our company that we would build if we were starting from scratch today. No tech debt, no org debt, no priors. 100% AI native company building
2. @ringmybeller owns the $150M business, the 20k customers, and the growth that’s paying for the experiment. This year we’ll grow 50% YoY profitably, it’s clearly working and he’s crushing.
The beauty of it is we haven’t yet unveiled the new version of the company. That’s coming in September.
"Postscript 2.0" takes 8 years of lessons and experience and combines it with the tactics and tools that benefit the 20 yr olds today.
It’s been one of the most painful things for us to do.
There’s endless change management, dissent from non-believers, lot’s to work we’ve created for ourselves.
To me, that’s much better than the alternative.
Disrupt yourselves before someone else does.

At Postscript we're deep in the AI company rebuild. It's honestly pretty grueling at our scale.
But we're making progress! Revenue growth reaccelerated to >50% YoY in H1, and we hit profitability last quarter.
A lot of this acceleration came from our AI motions. It's changed how we build, what we build (harnesses like Shopper, IT, AskShopper, etc), and how we operate internally.
The internal operations piece is quiet but impactful. And one key thing we did to help facilitate and support internal builders was launching Outpost, our internal AI hosting platform.
With Outpost anyone at PS can take something they vibecoded (dashboard, prototype, tool, whatever) and get it live on a real URL in seconds... without servers, infra, etc. That's a huge unlock!
What I like so much about Outpost is that it enables builders across the org, vs leaving non-engineers waiting for a roadmap slot.
It's become one of the quiet engines behind our AI & Internal Tools ships this year. We estimate we've already saved 7figs from these initiatives and have a loooong way to go.
If you're driving internal AI transformation, strong recommend getting a similar platform live.

"1:1 automations drove 15X incremental ROAS."
@mikemanheimer, CCO at @PostscriptIO, says "It also drove a 25% lower unsubscribe rate."
"Marketers assume people want 1:1, but do they really?"
"The unsubscribe rate proves it."
"Even when people don't convert, they like the personalized experience better and stay subscribed longer."
"So you win on revenue and on retention."
A few things that make it work:
1. It runs 24/7/365.
"If you're sick, it's still running. If you're out, it's still running."
2. The downside is capped.
"Worst case, it delivers an automation at parity with what you run now."
"Best case, it drives an incremental conversion and delights the customer with administration cost going to zero, while your current flows require hands on the keyboard."
3. It comes with receipts.
"For skeptics, every implementation is baked into a holdout, a 50/50 test vs. your current control, with clear per-subscriber reporting."
"You don't tell your boss 'trust me, bro.' You point to the holdout study, right there in the dashboard."

So easy for people to roll their eyes at "vibes", but people buy from people they like. It's a fact of humanity. So ask yourself this:
"As a marketer, am I giving my team a great platform to show off our winning personality and culture?"
If not, figure it out. If you don't have a winning personality and culture, well, that's a different problem for a different episode. 🙂

"AI is the only tool that can create 1:1 messaging."
@mikemanheimer, CCO at @PostscriptIO says "A shopper agent was chatting with a customer."
"We learned the person was buying because their daughter-in-law has celiac."
"That's a perfect reason to send a personalized message."
"But no human marketer could ever use that."
"You can't have marketers hand-writing messages."
"They'd be overwhelmed with thousands of conversations."
"An AI agent is the only tool that can act on a segment of one."
"It can take that raw material and automate a genuinely personal message at scale."
Are you using AI to create a "segment of one" yet?

Think email is all we’re cooking up? You’d be very wrong!
The @PostscriptIO team is moving faster as we build the AI Retention Platform. And today I’m *very* excited to share another enormous product launch: Shopper 2.0
Shopper 2 is our latest step toward fully autonomous marketing at Postscript.
We launched Shopper 1 last year, and it, along with Infinity Testing, have become mainstays for ai-pilled ecom marketers.
Shopper started as a conversational sales agent, taking our learnings from SMS Sales and applying them at scale to drive incremental revenue for brands. Hundreds of brands have used Shopper to increase sales and better engage + retain subscribers.
Shopper 2.0 is a major upgrade, expanding the surface area of automated 1:1 messaging from conversations to flows.
It's extremely powerful.
Shopper 2 takes all the context known about a subscriber and a brand and creates unique, targeted 1:1 messages across the customer journey.
Old world: manually program a flowbuilder for a 1-size-fits-all customer journey.
New world via Shopper 2: dynamically generated, 1:1 messages across use cases like Welcome, Abandons, Upsells, Cross-sells, and more.
We’re seeing pretty incredible results (all proven w/ holdout tests):
- 10-30% lift in revenue per subscriber
- 15x-40x incremental return
- 20-35% lower unsubscribe rate
That's not all tho!
Shopper 2.0 also features lots of updates to Brand Center, reporting + ux, model upgrades, and also adds Ask Shopper to the mix.
Ask Shopper is our insights product where marketers can query the proprietary conversational and experimental dataset to learn more about their users and what's working in their marketing.
Exciting times! Ping me or your CSM if you want access 👍

This has to be one of the funniest launches / accidental announcements. can confirm this wasn't intentional lmao 🤣
Honestly also an incredibly perfect move for the team Postscript to do.
They have such a grasp on the SMS realm atm so trying to steal Klaviyo's lunch will be interesting.
