Most brands go quiet on these 3 BFCM days:
> Tuesday before Thanksgiving
> Sunday between Black Friday and Cyber Monday
> Wednesday/Thursday after Cyber Monday
@PostscriptIO's data says that’s exactly when you should send.
Which one are you skipping this year? 👇

+ Meta Is Turning Your Ads Into DPA
October 28, Meta starts bolting “product browsing” onto your existing ads. Default on. Opt out, or the creative you spent all quarter testing serves as a catalog carousel, two weeks before BFCM spend ramps. (Via @herrmanndigital)
+ Holiday Growth Is Half Inflation?
Mastercard calls for 5.5% holiday growth, the best since 2022. Then the asterisk: 2.8 points of it is inflation. Per Advertiser Intelligence, Circana has shoppers planning $779, down from $796 last year, with 74% hunting deals. Adobe sees AI-driven traffic to retail sites up 130%. Same dollars, more sellers fighting for them.
+ AI Cameras Are Grading Factory Workers
A viral clip shows AI cameras in a Chinese factory scoring workers move by move, every reach and pause graded in real time. How long before your 3PL installs one?

Shoutout @PostscriptIO
We're migrating a client to another ESP right now (they wanted sms/email bundled) and the PS team has been super collaborative and responsive in helping migrate.
I plan to work with PS more and more over the next few years, especially given their default isn't "f you for leaving". I've had bad experiencing with other ESPs so I really appreciate this.
It's a long game ya'll.

Yesterday I joined a call with a well known 9-figure brand that's been on @PostscriptIO for a few months.
I was very pleased to see that all 5 AI products they're using are driving meaningful gains proven by holdout test:
- AI Popup Retrigger: 23% increase in opt ins 📈
- AI Infinity Test Automations: 26% increase in revenue per message 💰
- AI Infinity Test Campaigns: 30% increase in revenue per message + 🤖 has beat control on all 100% of campaigns
- Shopper Responses: $50k incremental revenue, 278x ROI 🗣️
- Most importantly, Shopper Automations (creates bespoke 1:1 automation flows for subscribers): 78% lower unsubscribe rate + 35% increase in revenue per message 💸
Pretty crazy.
Including screenshots as evidence.
Here's my question - if you're a @PostscriptIO customer why aren't you using these?

It's election season, and I'm here to talk politics.
Building a business is hard enough.
And sendflation is a disease in an otherwise moral ecom society. It must end.
So today, we're doing something about it.
Excited to launch Sendflation.
Together, we can bring an end to Sendflation once and for all 🤝

Major win for ecommerce businesses: California SB 690 is now law.
The bill curbs one of the most aggressive California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA) litigation theories used against businesses over routine website technologies.
The EIA strongly supported this reform along with @YesOnSB690 and worked to help push it across the finish line.
What changed and what businesses should know:

Have you been sued in California for wire tapping, just for using a meta pixel?
Thousands of Ecom brands were getting shake down requests for nothing more than a conversion pixel.
Every settlement was $10,000-$50,000 bucks, right out of the pocket of small business.
I was sued multiple times.
As of today, that won’t ever happen again:
I thought this was the wrong reading of the law and wanted to do something about it.
My internal team worked with the eCommerce alliance.
They put time, money, and resources into changing this law.
I really didn’t do much.
But as a result of their hard work-
No one else will be sued for this ever again.
The work of the eCommerce alliance, backed by postscript, just saved the entire ecom industry probably 30 million dollars a year.
Huge shoutout to Gina from my team for getting this done.
Ridge could have just kept paying it.
But that’s how these things win.
Ecom brands are too fractured, everyone too cheap, everyone being crabs in a bucket.
It takes brands and great partners like postscript to work together to make the industry better.
I just saved your brand $25,000 bucks.
You can thank postscript for that.

BIG FEATURE RELEASE FOR CASHBACK 👀
Discounts cost you margin whether the customer needed them or not.
When a subscriber earns CashBack, they choose how to redeem it — a Prepaid Award Card, or Store Credit to use on your site. About 20% choose Store Credit. That value stays in your ecosystem, tied to your brand.
With CashBack Retargeting in Postscript, you can now build a segment of subscribers with unclaimed Store Credit in Postscript and reach them with a targeted SMS. One reminder that their reward is waiting.
When they come back to redeem, they spend an average of 2.5x the face value. An incentive that saves you margin and brings customers back. 💡
