I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day. And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

Just a few weeks ago at the “Furry Migration” convention in Minneapolis, there was an “Aviation Furs Meet-up.” Ask yourself… would you be comfortable with a MENTALLY ILL FURRY being your pilot? furrymigration.org/schedule/
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Airline pilots must meet 1st-class medical requirements; being a part of the furry fandom or playing dress-up is not listed in 14 CFR 67.107(c) as a disqualifier. Hiring is entirely merit-based per OpSpec A134; airlines will hire whomever is qualified and certified. ecfr.gov/current/title-… faa.gov/documentLibrar…

Alabama enjoys, at a minimum, $450 million a year in benefits from the labor of incarcerated workers who are forced to work for free or for $2 a day. That's exploitation. justicecatalyst.org/law/alab…

Organized labor built the middle class - and my family. And I am so very grateful. On this Labor Day lets celebrate all that unions built and thank them for their labors. But they also deserve a government that works for them, which is exactly what I will give them as Alabama’s governor.

If there's a separate clock somewhere that's more official than the one we see on TV a lot of people owe soccer an apology
Terry McAulay: "The ball isn't even close to touching a player when it goes to zero... Their Hawk-Eye system apparently had a different sync... I don't see how that happened, assuming our clock is correct... The ball is clearly still in the air when the clock goes to zero..."

"There is nothing special about Elon Musk, Sam Altman, or Mark Zuckerberg. Accepting that requires you to also accept that the world itself is not one that rewards the remarkable, or the brilliant, or the truly incredible, but those who are able to take advantage of opportunities, which in turn leads to the horrible truth that those who often have the most opportunities are some of the most boring and privileged people alive." -@EdZitron, You Can't Make Friends With The Rockstars wheresyoured.at/rockstars/

Finally got around to reading James Islington’s newest “The Will of the Many.” I loved it but was a little confused at why he was writing in the first person. That was until I read the epilogue. 🤯 I audibly gasped.

Bosses are Bizarro-world Marxists. Like Marxists, your boss's worldview is organized around the principle that every dollar you take home in wages is a dollar that isn't available for executive bonuses, stock buybacks or dividends. 10/

Of all the small details that had to be cut for Villenueve’s Dune, I’m most going to miss the Choam company. The idea that Imperial power was measured in stocks gave me a big laugh when I first read the books.

Given the reaction by sports media I can only conclude that an Instagram picture of Taylor Swift playing Ticket to Ride would bring this industry to its knees

Band: “ You guys cool if we play a few more songs? 🤪” Me as an audience member: “We have no choice in the matter. Why are you asking?”

Just want to remind all Wrexham fans that we are unlikely to win anywhere near as many games as we did last season. Our points total last year: 111 Avg points needed for promotion in L2 in last 10 seasons: 79.9 That’s 31 points, 10 wins and a draw less. So no meltdowns please. – at Wales, United Kingdom

I love Rob. I’m late diagnosed as well and it’s been a huge weight off to know more about myself.
I was recently diagnosed with a host of neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disabilities! At 46! I go through the full diagnosis/prognosis on the @thesunnypodcast (which drops in 2 weeks) It’s not something I would normally talk about publicly but I figured there are others who struggle with similar things and I wanted to remind you that you’re not alone. You’re not stupid. You’re not “bad”. It might feel that way sometimes. But it’s not true :)
