Baby girl, it’s supposed to be hard. It’s supposed to be uncomfortable. It’s supposed to feel awkward. You’re supposed to look like a clueless beginner. It’s supposed to take timeee. Please don’t stop and rush back to what feels comfortable because you don’t wanna deal with the icky feelings. Stay the course. The life waiting for you on the other side is sooo worth it.

A lawyer on TikTok is telling married women to keep evidence in marriage. There are so many women who were the providers; they bought lands and houses in their husbands’ names, but at divorce they can’t claim them without evidence. Do you know how bad it has gotten that lawyers now caution women to document their contributions? These women, after suffering and building with these men, leave with nothing as the men claim it all. This is what feminists have been crying about, but you get coconut head and rather believe feminists are bitter and want to separate you from your heaven baby. Oya na!!

Sometimes, you don't need to vent to your friends about everything that you're going through. Sometimes it's okay to just pray about it and move on. Let it be between you and God.

I am particularly upset on behalf of this lady. The uncle asked if she knows him, which means all of them arent part of their life while the deceased was alive. He also asked if he knows his father, which means Toluwani doesn't have any relationship with the father. He abandoned the boy after the death of his mother. The uncle dare to challenge the wife that he heard that Toluwani built a house for her as a gift for her birthday.... and he emphasized that yet see the way his father is. That lady needs help and all the support she can get. I know families like these... they're gold diggers and they'll make her life extremely miserable. From the way the deceased uncle spoke, they're targeting his wealth. I hope she gets the protection needed. These are the kind of people that makes life horrible for women. They abandoned his mother and now they're after this young lady. Iyawo, don't allow anyone manipulate you or deceive you to agree to anything that will endanger you and your children. Toba possible, if you can, leave their environment and be at peace. I see a society that disrespects women at every slightest opportunity provided. Before a man can build a house as a gift for a woman he loves, it means she earns it. Unfortunately, death is revealing alot but men must always make proper planning incase of death, inorder to protect your immediate family. As a young lady, before you marry, ask all the right questions. I love him doesn't protect you from wicked family members. You see their picture together? It means they labor together when he was without a people, name, help. He rose in her arms and her arms kept him safe, he founds comfort in them. Before you say, it is his house, see the picture and make a righteous judgement. Sad story!
I have seen alot of people call this lady many things. From people's actions, you already who they're. Why will a father inlaw brings his son's wife refusal to online? Are there no family members to resolve this issue? Are there no ministers on ground to mediate? This says alot about the relationship between the father and the son. These are the fathers that neglect kids and see them struggle without blinking. You'll be surprised to know that the son and his father might even not be in talking terms before he died. It will be possible that he only came for his property. If you've been widowed before and you're in such families, you'll understand this kinds of people. Also, these young couple labored together to achieve what they have. The man is dead, why trouble the lady this much in less than 1 month of being widowed knowing she has little kids to support too? I pray for her that God will grant her all the strength needed to pass this f Difficult time and strengthen her. I pray that she will not die untimely. Amen.

This is not even a tribal thing; it is a Nigerian culture that hates widows and their children. Wigwe died 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿 his family disgraced themselves. Ekubo died 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿 his family disgraced themselves. Mohbad died 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿 his family disgraced themselves. Men’s families are entitled. They care more about converting their late brother’s properties and frustrating his wife and kids than actually mourning the person they lost.
