It’s hilarious how in the terminal list season 2 they’re like “yeah if you complete the mission, we’ll operate on your tumor and save you”. Dude Chris Pratt is literally suffering hallucinations and you want to send him in the field.
In the terminal list season 2 episode 2, this other guy is waxing nostalgic about the past vis-à-vis his current circumstances and says “yeah it’s no Rhodesia”, and Chris Pratt is like “yeah really sorry about the whole Rhodesia thing” lol

CLOs: You have 10x levered CLOs, buying the $CRWV SUNs which fund the equity into SPVs which borrow at 80% LTV to buy Nvidia chips. Insane. CDO Squared of 2026

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever read from a "early Anthropic backer" per the FT article:
“If [public market investors] are not seeing the narrative at this point, they are failing a basic IQ test. The next Google is dancing naked in front of you. If you can’t see the value of it, you don’t deserve to make money.”
I know the guy is talking his book, but come on. Google went public at a $23B valuation at about 7x forward sales (compared to Anthropic, which based on current $80B ARR is close to 20x at a $1.5 trillion valuation) with virtually no competition outside of pretty much just Yahoo. AI right now is both the most competitive and capital-intensive industry in years (if not in history)
But then again maybe he knows something we don't and they cure cancer next year

Go back and read it, TNC was arguing that Sanders's class-first approach - which he has now converted the Dems too - was not reckoning enough with race, and he "should be directly confronted" about his timidity in fighting "white supremacy." theatlantic.com/politics/arc…

CORRECTION: This post and opinion video states that Abdul El-Sayed gave his acceptance speech in Arabic. That’s not accurate. In fact, he said a few phrases in Arabic, but the majority of his speech was in English. The Free Press regrets the error.
Great that should get them through the next month
*OPENAI CLOSES $11 BILLION OF NEW ROUND AT $1.25 TRILLION VALUE
So they initially sought more than $30B at $1.4T valuation. Then that came down to $20B at $1.25T valuation
Now they managed to get it partially done, raising only $11B with the remaining $9B, "expected to be completed in the coming weeks"
I bet the investors want to wait and see how $ANT IPO goes before forking over the next $9B at a valuation that's potentially above Anthropic's
