More moral preening from JB Pritzker.
Do as I say not as I do.
No individual in USA history has spent more money on Gubernatorial elections than JB Pritzker.
.@JBPritzker: We got outspent everywhere. When you've got Elon Musk spending $240 million — like in Texas — we're going to get outspent. We're never going to be able to catch up in that regard until we have campaign finance reform and end Citizens United.
Every candidate, regardless of party, is advancing a worldview. Some have dangerous, wicked agendas that will tear apart our republic. When will Christians get serious about "teaching the nations" the things of Christ? Yes, even in the world of politics. harbingersdaily.com/the-hall…
Over the past six years, voters in 45 Illinois counties have approved nonbinding secession referendums. Cook County dominates our state’s political direction, and all six statewide constitutional officials live in Chicago. Downstate voters rightly reject Chicago-style politics.

When will #Illinois voters wake up? Demoncrats held a trifecta from 2003–2014 & again since 2019, with supermajorities for nearly 13 years. Meanwhile, taxes & the state's problems keep growing. And the media? Complicit, if not in outright collusion. wbez.org/government-politics…

71% of cook county voters opted to retain Judge Teresa Molina-Gonzalez who released offender Lawrence Reed after his 72nd arrest.
He then set Bethany MaGee on fire while riding Chicago's blue line train.
She starts another 6 year term.
Yay!
As if it could not get worse, Republicans lost seats in each chamber of the Illinois General Assembly. As of today:
Republicans in the IL Senate will go from 19 to 14 of 59 total.
Republicans in the IL House will go from 40 to 34 of 118 total.
Can you say "super duper" majority?
The GOP took a beating in the midterms, but conservative principles won important victories at the ballot box! Voters backed citizenship requirements, voter ID, protections for women's sports, and Second Amendment rights. Conservative principles win! thefederalist.com/2026/11/04…

Election days come and go. But one thing remains the same: God is in control. No matter how you feel about the election results, we must remember that our fellow Americans are not our enemies. We share a common home and the future of our country depends on us. As the great President Abraham Lincoln once said, "We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection."
Now is not the time for division or despair. Let’s move forward with unity and a posture of hope. This is America. And our best days are still ahead of us. 🇺🇸

Muslims have a plan to make America a Muslim nation.
Marxists have a plan to make America a Marxist nation.
Secular Progressives have a plan to make America a Secular Progressive nation.
… but Christians seem to always have a plan to keep Christianity from further influencing our nation by discipling people into either:
1) Political apathy (“God is sovereign, back off”, “we don’t get political, just do evangelism”)
2) Political ambiguity (“Jesus isn’t a Republican or Democrat, neither Right nor Left” = primary application of gospel to culture)
If continued, this will have very predictable (and disastrous) results in coming years, and a few conversations with pastors in deep blue cities / states trying to build churches, pastor people, and raise Christian families will help you realize it.
I'm sitting down to write an article on the preliminary election results. "Disappointing" doesn't begin to cover it. But I need to sort it all out prayerfully & focus on what matters most & what we must keep front & center. Clarifying our thoughts & emotions in light of Scripture is vital.
