On access-controlled expressways, Trichy is 3.5 hrs and Madurai is 4.5 hrs. Faster trips mean double the bus capacity and empty bus bays.

Dismantle the Chennai city traffic police and redeploy them elsewhere. Absolutely no control on the road. You see wrong side driving, haphazard parking, more than 2 ppl in bikes and without helmets everywhere. It’s a free for all and the ones who follow the rules suffer the most.
TamilNadu farmers, road/footpath encroachers, wrong side drivers/riders should be given this card to make it official and enable them to easily access lifetime benefits.

I don't mind this ban. But this indirectly helps the incompetent HR&CE department, the temple workers including archakars to go unaccounted for their doings without any way to document it.
Also, I like to take pictures of the pillars, sculptures, lifted roofs and other architectural stuff inside temples and I mostly go to temples only to see them.
