Yesterday, Scotland For Decrim protested outside Scottish Parliament to demonstrate sex workers opposition to the proposed introduction of the Nordic Model in Scotland.

Poverty pushes many into sex work, only for the state to punish them for trying to get by.
We must tackle poverty, repeal laws endangering sex workers, and remove cautions and convictions from their records.
I spoke on @BBCWomansHour about why decriminalisation is long overdue:

🌍 Around the world, sex workers continue to face criminalisation and stigma. It's time to shift the conversation from judgement to justice.
Decriminalisation means protecting sex workers' rights to work safely, access healthcare, and live free from discrimination. Let's challenge oppressive laws and ensure that sex workers are treated with dignity and respect.

Some passionate speeches today in support of #decriminalisation by @QLDLabor and @QldGreens MPs.
They👂to sex workers & know that workers will be safer with this reform. Combatting gender based violence cannot be solved by criminalisation of workers OR clients.
