Thank you @LuganoPlanB! What a fantastic conference! It's great seeing Bitcoin Circular Economies represented every year!
Project founder @vryfokkenou answered this question in his keynote yesterday:
"Why should you care about Bitcoin Circular Economies?"
In short:
Because BCEs:
- demonstrate that Bitcoin is freedom money.
- can produce factories that onboard thousands.
- educate without complexity.
- prove we don't really need stablecoins.
- cut through the crypto hype.
- introduce spending as a gateway to saving.
- demonstrate that Bitcoin is already useful as an MoE.

I recently gave a good friend a wedding gift using Bitcoin.
Half of the Bitcoin will become available on his first wedding anniversary.
My message to him was simple:
A year from now, take your wife out for a nice evening on me.
The other half?
Locked until their fifth anniversary.
Five years from now, go out again. That evening is on me too.
I thought it was a fantastic gift.
Not because of how much Bitcoin I gave them, but because I was able to attach TIME and INTENTION to the money.
I was actually pretty proud of it.
Then, a week or so after the wedding, we were sitting around with some friends — several of them Bitcoiners — and the gift came up in conversation.
When they heard that half couldn't be touched for a year and the other half couldn't be touched for five years, they laughed.
They thought it was silly.
Someone jokingly asked:
“What will it even be worth in five years?”
Another replied:
“Well, hopefully more.”
And I sat there thinking...
Maybe our biggest problem isn't teaching people about Bitcoin.
Maybe it's teaching people about MONEY.
We've spent generations being taught to think about money in terms of what we can buy with it TODAY.
Earn it.
Receive it.
Spend it.
What if money could carry instructions across time?
What if a wedding gift could still be buying dinner five years after the wedding?
What if a gift for a newborn could still be waiting for them when they're 18?
What if an inheritance could arrive gradually over decades instead of disappearing as a lump sum?
Bitcoin gave us scarce digital money.
But perhaps we haven't yet begun to appreciate what becomes possible when we combine that money with TIME.
Maybe my friends are right and it was a stupid wedding gift.
Ask me again on their fifth anniversary.

Chamath is an idiot.
For one… Satoshi doesn’t have a wallet.
Rather he holds Bitcoin in over 22,000 different addresses (essentially different “wallets” none connected to the other).
Two… SHA-256 isn't what guards anyone’s coins.

I'm assuming that pretty much all wallets that use electrum backend are vulnerable to this type of attack.
In BULL wallet, users do not connect to a random electrum server, but only to "trusted" servers: 2 run by Bull Bitcoin, and another run by Blockstream. While this decision has been criticized in the past for having some negative privacy implications, I opted for this strategy because I didn't want users to connect to random electrum servers run by spooks or hackers. The only way to connect to another electrum server is to manually add it yourself (which many people do).
As a result, no BULL wallet users are affected unless they explicitly chose to manually enter the electrum address of a compromised server. Nevertheless, we are immediately adding a client-side validation using the same approach as Electrum wallet.
This is yet another argument for running your own Bitcoin node server, something that is very easily accessible now either via the "node-in-a-box" products like Start9 or Umbrel, or simply using an AI agent to set it up for you on a virtual private server.

Yesterday marked the beginning of Bitcoin classes at Ndugu Peraxxim Garage Motors. 🧡
Together with 6 staff members, we explored money — what we think it is, what we’ve always known it to be, and what it actually is.
One conversation at a time. One business at a time. Building a community that understands Bitcoin beyond the technology.
These sessions will continue weekly. ⚡
#Bitbiashara #BitcoinEducation #BitcoinAdoption #BitcoinForEveryone
Yesterday, we went all in with @NduguPeraxxim branding. 🧡
But this partnership goes beyond branding.
Through our partnership, we are creating opportunities for young people to gain practical skills while bringing Bitcoin education closer to businesses and their workforce.
Starting next week, we’ll be hosting Bitcoin classes for the garage workforce and people working in the surrounding businesses.
We want people to understand Bitcoin, learn how to use it, and see how they can receive their value in Bitcoin.
At Bitbiashara, we believe adoption happens when education meets real-world opportunities.
We build partnerships. We share knowledge. We create opportunities. We make Bitcoin practical.

Most Bitcoiners I meet aren't actually trying to escape the fiat system.
They're trying to make enough money from Bitcoin that they can achieve financial freedom inside it.
Those are two very different things.
You can criticize centralized banking all day long. But if every time you save for a car, send money to family, put money aside for your children, plan future spending or make a financial commitment, your automatic response is:
“I'll just use the bank.”
Then you haven't left the system.
You still depend on it.
Living outside the fiat system requires a different mindset.
Every financial decision begins with a simple question:
How can I do this without asking a bank, government or centralized institution to hold, move or control my money?
That's one reason we built bc1q21.
Sending money across the world. Saving Bitcoin for a future purchase. Creating future allowances. Structuring gifts over years. Committing Bitcoin today for something you want to happen tomorrow.
These aren't exotic Bitcoin experiments.
They're ordinary financial activities we've been conditioned to hand over to banks.
Bitcoin gives us the monetary network to live differently. But Bitcoin's price going up won't free us from the old system.
We actually have to stop using the old system.
If your first instinct is still always, “I'll put it in the bank,” you're not opting out yet.
Bitcoin sovereignty isn't something you own.
It's something you practice.

Inflation isn't going away.
Paul Tudor Jones in 2024: “All roads lead to inflation. I’m long gold. Long Bitcoin. Long commodities. Long Nasdaq. Zero fixed income.”
He reiterated in April 2026 that Bitcoin is “unequivocally the best inflation hedge, more than gold” because of its fixed supply.
In 2020 he made the same call and Bitcoin went on to rally 7x over the next 18 months.
You can position for inflation...or pay for it.
