GOING AFTER DMA CHEATS Ahead of DMZ Early Access earlier this week, we launched new RICOCHET Anti-Cheat detections targeting DMA cheats. DMA, or Direct Memory Access, cheats use external hardware to access game information cheaters should never have, including information about opponents and their in-game locations. By operating outside the PC running Call of Duty, DMA cheats are designed to evade traditional software-based protections.

🎉 We are getting married tomorrow! 🎉 I never thought I’d get so lucky to find such an amazing and beautiful person. I also learned you don’t actually rehearse the wedding at the rehearsal dinner before a wedding. Had a great dinner with the best people though, which was nice.

Things are about to change around here. We're under new management, and we're revamping our systems to make ACPD a more reliable place to report cheaters, win traders, boosters and hitchhikers. We understand it can feel like nobody is listening and getting your reports to real people should be easy. We're going to make reporting easier and improve how we handle reports on our side. There's work to do but we're committed to getting this right.

An indirect call can have the right target and still be wrong to follow. That drove a lot of our work on PRISM, proving stack writes, return paths, and machine state in Hyper-V, and checking those proofs again after rewriting. blog.probe.ac/posts/indirect…

When people talk about AI for cyber defense, y’all know the AIs don’t actually fight each other right? There isn’t some holy war between swarms.

GTA 6 is a month away + I'm marrying the love of my life. Obviously one is more important, but both deserve celebrating! I'm therefore giving away $6,767 USD split between 6 winners! Buy a PS5 Pro + GTA 6, or whatever you want :) Best of luck! Enter here: gleam.io/MouPX/darkviperaus-…

If you own a @Ledger device that is 2 years or younger, you must open it to look for spyware With reports now coming from Europe and Latin America, it’s clear this is NOT limited to CryptoBillis I just cracked open a Ledger purchased on their site and picked up in person at BestBuy (my recommended method of buying a hardware wallet) This is what it looks like to have no spyware on a Ledger In the case of the European implant, it didn’t drain the funds…either is didn’t work, or the hacker was waiting for some reason Do NOT let “I haven’t been drained yet” be the reason you don’t check Merci beaucoup @MagicalTux pour ta vidéo 🙏

When you disagree with someone, there are two paths forward. The first is to try to engage with what they’re saying: what their reasons are, whether their position is true, what evidence could be brought to bear, and so on.

T3 code sucks because it removes so much friction when working and I've now run out of ideas! I'm tempted to make my own podcast app just because I can. Its so nice being able to do all of my work on a remote Linux box from my phone.

As an OpenAI fanboy it bothers me to see posts criticizing Opus 5.5 Let's be objective, neither GPT-6 Astra nor GPT-6.1 Sol is smarter than Opus 5.5, and being more efficient doesn't automatically make them better. People calling Opus 5.5 a token-burning machine are exaggerating too, Opus 5.5 high uses fewer tokens per task than GPT-6.1 Sol while getting better scores Astra is still expensive however efficient it is, and GPT-6.1 Sol is cheap, but not everyone is looking for the lowest cost, we want a fast and smart model. Intelligence isn't intelligence per dollar, it's just intelligence, lower costs are a welcome bonus We can't expect models to improve if every time a lab that isn't our favorite releases a model that beats everything else we pretend it didn't happen
