Passing the gofundme around one more time. Second round of surgery is on Dec 1. Between having reduced pay while out of work for my first surgery and still having to pay rent, bills, and for meds+appointments it’s been a very rough few months. Anything helps.
Hi everyone! Surgery went really well and I’ve been at home recovering for a few days. I’ve got 6weeks ahead of me and could use some support while I’m receiving reduced checks to cover rent+bills. Anything helps! Even just sharing! Thank u so much!!!!

The other day, I attended a staff screening of director Mamoru Oshii’s latest film, “ARMORED TROOPER VOTOMS Die Graue Hexe,” and got to see it ahead of its release. WOW!!! Absolutely incredible!!! THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! Oh, I’m so glad I’ve lived long enough to see this!!!! Welcome back, Director Oshii!!! You’ve completely blown me away!!! It brought back all the reasons I became a fan of Director Oshii when I was young, and reminded me once again why I admired him so much. Director Oshii will always be my mentor. Thank you so much!!! I’ll definitely see it at least three more times in theaters!! In theaters November 20! 👍

Continually amazed how people still get shocked that a thing comes out, is extremely popular and then a small subset criticize it. It's always framed dtamatically as a "SUDDEN" shift with "EVERYONE" loving it beforehand too, as if disliking something is automatically bad faith
I mean it weaponizes misogynistic tropes and just cus it’s about how men fuel them doesn’t mean that it’s not presenting a stereotypical crazy bitch hysteria as shock value and comedy
I really wish all my sisters in this state weren’t constantly at risk of homelessness. It really breaks my heart
