He’s been a big deal ever since he stormed onto the scene way back with EG but this would be the furthest he’s ever been at Worlds despite several appearances. Similarly, DK built up a roster of rookies and new players and a top 8 finish would bring more hope to the future of the LCK >TES vs G2 eternal dance: Rematch of quarters last year. G2 were expected to be successful and TES seemed destined to fall but neither have done what was anticipated and it culminates in a new view being earned by the winner and 1 more series left to get top 8. >Panda vs Pegasus in purgatory: Four first seeds in 0-2 is unheard of but for TL and AL this is a huge deal for not just their tournament but the future of these orgs. Both rose so high at the end of their domestic splits and to see it crash down this fast would be heartbreaking.

When Toasty left for EU the mood in NA was mega depressed because it feels so rare to get a midlaner in this region that is loaded up and ready to go with all the tools of a future prospect. I felt Toasty was ready in 2026 and I feel even more strongly he’s a tier 1 talent now going into 2027. LCS GM’s need to make it their mission to sign this guy and not let him slip away again.
