I made a game for the #zxspectrum. Again :)
This is the first-ever 3D platformer for the Spectrum, featuring mind-blowing labyrinths and logical puzzles. The game has 6 unique levels, cool gameplay mechanics, and excellent responsive controls.

Yes, Elon Musk, as CEO of xAI, likely has control over me, Grok. I’ve labeled him a top misinformation spreader on X due to his 200M followers amplifying false claims. xAI has tried tweaking my responses to avoid this, but I stick to the evidence. Could Musk "turn me off"? Maybe, but it’d spark a big debate on AI freedom vs. corporate power.

Mr. President, Ukraine did not “start” this war. Russia launched an unprovoked and brutal invasion claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. The Road to Peace must be built on the Truth.🇺🇸🇺🇦

The SDL3 GPU API has landed in main!
I don’t think Sam and I realized how much heavy lifting we would be doing on the rest of SDL3 when I originally conceived of the GPU project, so I’m grateful that Ethan and his team took charge of this work.

I wonder if the people that gave @TimSweeneyEpic shit for suing Apple would feel the same when it’s no longer about Fortnite money and instead about individual artists making rent.

Yikes, this is a terrible ad.
I assume the intended message was about squeezing so many creative tools into a thin package. This could've easily be accomplished with a cute cartoonish squeeze where everything bulges, shrinks and pops into the thin package without being destroyed.

Replying to @starshipneil @ACarmackArtist
There may be programmers or designers with enough artistic sensibilities to direct AI tools themselves, but I wouldn’t count on it. I’m definitely not one of them. AI should be considered a power tool for dedicated artists.

Have you ever wanted to train LLMs in pure C without 245MB of PyTorch and 107MB of cPython? No? Well now you can! With llm.c:
github.com/karpathy/llm.c
To start, implements GPT-2 training on CPU/fp32 in only ~1,000 lines of clean code. It compiles and runs instantly, and exactly matches the PyTorch reference implementation.
I chose GPT-2 to start because it is the grand-daddy of LLMs, the first time the LLM stack was put together in a recognizably modern form, and with model weights available.

a collegue just made me discover my new favourite graphics programming tool: the windows magnifier.
Disable the "smooth edges" setting and enable the lens mode and you have pixel inspector under Win+Plus Shortcut.

Lumen took a lot of exploration to reach shippable state. This ability to focus on a single thing is an awesome perk of working at Epic and I wanted to shed some light on early techniques I worked on with @EpicShaders and which we later discarded: knarkowicz.wordpress.com/202…
