Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏

Enough and more has been discussed on this topic and it's high time TVK Govt breaks away from the pointless DMK policy of not letting Navodaya schools in TN. DMK opposed every Central Govt scheme blindly in their regime and let the people of TN suffer, while other states kept benefitting. Vijay has made his stand clear that he is not going to do such stunt and this is certainly one to reconsider.
The equation is simple. Every State and Union Territory (including Pondicherry and including states with Congress in power) in India has Navodaya schools that benefits the students and they are all learning a third language. Every private/CBSE school in TN is teaching Hindi or any other third language to students. But denying this opportunity to the less privileged Govt school kids in TN alone is really sad. If Hindi is the actual reason, then either the state needs to ensure Hindi is not taught in any school in TN. Or ensure other languages other than Hindi is taught in all schools in TN.
This scheme is a solid win for the less privileged kids in TN where the Central Govt is literally taking up all the operational and infrastructural cost. Denying this is hypocritical.

This is deeply troubling. If he has evidence of corruption then action must be taken now. What is this about a right time? Will this also be used for political bargaining without actually bringing them to justice???
"I will reveal the corruption files from the previous DMK regime at an appropriate time. I have two files on my desk. Don't force me to do it now," says Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, intervening in a ruckus that broke out between TVK and DMK legislators in the State Legislative Assembly, over alleged irregularities in laying roads.

One car per MLA - one time cost of around 20L (I hope they do not spend more than this!). Monthly expenditure of 1L per MLA for car driver, petrol, maintenance and an assistant. This equals 46.8 Cr one time and 2.34 Cr per month or 28.08 Cr per annum. This is a small number considering overall budget of the state. I am more than happy to double or even triple this allowance (3L per month).
But… can we now make the punishment heavier if any MLA is found to indulge in corruption? And double the punishment for ministers?

N.V. Veera was a local leader in the ruling TVK. He served as the party’s joint secretary for Chengalpattu East and president of the Mambakkam Panchayat Union.
A video that surfaced allegedly captured him accepting ₹1.3 lakh as a bribe from a road works contractor.
Media reports indicate that, under the direct instructions of Chief Minister Vijay, he was expelled from the party and removed from all positions.
He was not merely suspended. He was permanently removed from the party.
Later, an FIR was registered and he was arrested by the Tambaram Police.
This sends the right message of zero tolerance towards corruption, to both government employees and members of the ruling party.
As I repeatedly say, if the state and the public continue to stick with this approach, eliminating corruption from Tamil Nadu is not very far away.

"You cannot treat a 15-year-old talent like a musical chair!" — Ravi Shastri absolutely fires up the commentary box after Vaibhav Suryavanshi gets dropped for the 5th T20I🚨😡🗣️
"Listen, if you are going to pick a 15-year-old boy based on an insane IPL season and throw him straight into English conditions against Jofra Archer, you have to be ready to back him through the storms! You cannot treat a generational talent like a game of musical chairs—dropping him after scores of 14, 13, and 15 makes no sense. International cricket is a different beast, the short-ball parameters are harsh, but how is he supposed to adapt if he's looking over his shoulder after every single failure? You either give the kid a secure 10-match rope to absorb the pressure, or you don't expose him to this level so early!"

🚨 Rodri on the GOAT debate between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi:
“It’s honestly the hardest debate in football because we are talking about two players who changed the history of the game forever.”
“Lionel Messi is pure talent and football intelligence.”
“The way he sees the game, dribbles and controls matches is something unique.”
“But Cristiano Ronaldo represents mentality, ambition and evolution.”
“What Cristiano achieved through hard work and discipline is unbelievable.”
“I think people sometimes underestimate how difficult it is to stay at the top level for so many years.”
“He adapted his game, changed leagues, won everywhere and continued scoring goals season after season.”
“That mentality is very inspiring for every footballer.”
“With Messi, you watch magic.”
“With Cristiano, you watch obsession, leadership and relentless desire to win.”
“For me, there is no wrong answer because football may never see two players like them again.”
“They pushed each other for more than fifteen years and because of that rivalry, football reached another level.”
“As players, we were lucky to witness both eras at the same time.”
“And honestly, whether someone chooses Messi or Cristiano, you still end up choosing greatness.”
