Today we are raising money for year 5 children to receive a pair of walking boots. We know that walking is really good for our mental health. After a difficult maths lesson we decided to do a guided meditation to get rid of any negative feelings 🌈 🧘

Congratulations to our fantastic Dojo Master 🤩
Our Y6 classes have today enjoyed a workshop presented by Malcolm Connelly from Kooth who explained all of the ways they can benefit from using this free online counselling and support service. Children can sign up at Kooth.com when they turn 11.
Well done to one of our Year 5 pupils who won our message in a bottle top competition. Her guess of 2221 bottle tops was only 2 away from the actual 2218 it took to complete the mural!

Y5 are having a fantastic day at @WWTWashington. So far we’ve been pond dipping, exploring the animals that live in different habitats and watching an otter feed!

What a fantastic way to end our Children’s Mental Health week! We joined a whole school Teams Meeting and showed everyone how to meditate. We then had a wonderful parade around the yard. #childrensmentalhealthweek2022 @RTPMentalHealth

Ride the wave 🌊 ...no matter what emotion or feeling is washing over you it's OK. Find a tool and learn to "surf" through it! 🏄♀️

We had a lovely afternoon today learning about words of affirmation for Mental Health Week! Then, we drew a picture of ourself and surrounded our picture with positive statements about ourselves. 🌟🦜😀
