As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today.

ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.

Fox News is defending feds killing another Minnesotan: "They are literally enforcing the law. These are targeted interactions, these are targeted operations. They are simply doing their jobs."

The Harris campaign wishes a happy IVF Day to everyone except for @JDVance
Happy World IVF Day To Everyone Except JD Vance "True to form, JD Vance is marking World IVF Day by insulting couples struggling with infertility, demeaning women's choices and their freedoms, and reminding voters about his and Donald Trump's anti-IVF Project 2025 agenda. "It's par for the course for Vance, who voted against legislation to protect IVF access, and his boss Donald Trump, who promised to fight 'side by side' with opponents of IVF and refuses to commit to vetoing a law that would endanger IVF access in all 50 states. "Trump, Vance, and their entire party have made it clear that they stand against women and their ability to start a family when and how they choose - and voters will make their stance clear by electing Kamala Harris this November."

The thing about NYT Connections is that it’s not a word game, it’s a general knowledge game and I’m not that knowledgeable, generally

A ‘boomerang word’ is borrowed from one language to another and then reborrowed back to the first one. Eg, English ‘cutlet’ became Japanese ‘katsuretsu’ which then came back to English as ‘katsu’, or ‘animation’ became ‘anime’ in Japanese and came back as ‘anime’ in English.

If your product/service’s only “value” is exclusivity then that’s your real problem. You’ve given yourself a ceiling when you could actually think about ways to expand with an elevated product e.g more Clear lines at each airport, more perks/reward tiers, partnerships CC: Delta
Nathan Hubbard (@NathanCHubbard) profile pictureNathan Hubbard@NathanCHubbard17 Sep 2023
CLEAR is a case study in overselling a subscription w/limited supply (fast TSA experience). Regular TSA lines are now routinely shorter. Only way out is to raise prices and intentionally lose customers to reestablish the value proposition. Otherwise whole biz implodes on itself😱
