Big tech monopolies keep asking us - our society, gov, lawmakers - for things that will make them billions & cost us/abuse us more.
Eg?
Google has decimated the Canadian journalism community. And yet it continues to steal content outright with nobody doing anything about it.

Serious mental illness can impact anybody at any time. Don't think it won't come knocking at your door, you are not totally immune or safe. I just wish more people understood this when showing so little compassion to serious mental illness.

Doug Ford has about 15 scandals as bad or worse than this.

The social contract has been broken: Both the feds and Ford have done absolutely nothing to help anyone except capital. Low income people get less supports than they did two years ago; disabled folks ignored. It's eugenics.

If you're listening to Rachel Maddow right now, you'll understand exactly why Elon Musk desperately needs a presidential pardon.
His Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) attempted to scrape personal data on the American people from every federal agency, aiming to rig the 2026 midterm elections. The Trump regime wanted to ensure they could never be voted out of power — and Musk was central to this authoritarian takeover.
However, the "Frankenstein list" compiled by DOGE was so deeply flawed and riddled with errors that even the fascist-friendly Roberts Supreme Court rejected it.
This.

Nonsense.
Offering more $ to US oil companies decreases our national security. So does selling public assets to

Canada’s new national security plan may have been the most important thing that happened last week, even though it received little discussion.
Dr. Janice Stein is here to change that today. What is the plan, and how will it work?
