Best of health to everyone!

Life ain’t so bad really…

After a busy week!

Hope you are all having a great day!

BE KIND Read it through a few times to grasp its meaning… “When the other person is hurting, confused, troubled, anxious, alienated, terrified; or when he or she is doubtful of self-worth, uncertain as to identity, then understanding is called for. The gentle and sensitive companionship of an empathetic stance… provides illumination and healing. In such situations deep understanding is, I believe, the most precious gift one can give to another”. (Carl Rogers)

It’s been a lovely evening out around the Hartlepool Carnival, Murphy's funfairs and a few of my favourite watering holes. A few people stopped for a chat and said some really kind things, which genuinely meant a lot. If there’s one thing I believe in, it’s just doing your bit for others whenever you can. Small acts of kindness can make a real difference. I love our town and the people in it. Thanks to everyone who took the time to say hello tonight. Have a brilliant weekend folks!

It really is FEEL GOOD FRIDAY on 102.4 @radiohartlepool FOLKS! Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills – Achieved! 🎉 After a full academic year of evening classes at @hartlepoolfe along with plenty of homework, essays, and assignments, I’m delighted to say I successfully passed my Level 2 Counselling Skills and continued my learning journey to achieve my Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills. I’m absolutely chuffed! Would I recommend face-to-face learning at Hartlepool FE? Without hesitation—absolutely, yes!

I LOVE HARTLEPOOL (non political message) Well done all the voluntary Committee members involved with this the 2026 Hartlepool Carnival, and all the other Committe members that have over the years made sure that every year is an absolute success, credit to you all each and everyone of you! I’m sure saying a MASSIVE THANK YOU here is appropriate too… Personally I’ve supported the carnival committee and volunteered with the Hartlepool Carnival since the year 2000 (with the exception of the year Covid struck town), that’s 25 years!!!! in many roles, as DJ, judge, compare for the main stage and when the team and I brought about Radio Hartlepool giving it FREE publicity and promotion on air on 102.4 @radiohartlepool… I’ve been fortunate to work with Mr Murphy of Murphy's funfairs, God bless him no longer with us now, all that time, and now personally and professionally working with his family John and Rory and their respective hard working family’s, I love Murphy’s Funfairs and all the other showmen, showwomen and their family’s too visiting Hartlepool giving us their time, FOLKS let’s make this years BIGGER AND BETTER than any other !!!!
