2141 YRK to HUL cancelled.
Can the 2225 DON - HUL be held for a few mins to enable passengers to take the 2202 YRK - DON, which is due to arrive at 2023, to connect?
It probably only needs to be held for 2 to 3 mins
@northernassist @alexhornbyrail
Apparently it's for @LNER station staff at York to advise, but where are they and how are passengers meant to know this?
Apparently @lner has not briefed station staff about the ticket validity easements gov.uk/government/news/opera… as they "haven't been told" if tickets are valid in the event of cancellations
Is @DavidHorne able to arrange for a brief to be sent out?
teapaw.org/northernassist/status/…
This demonstrates an example of what is wrong with the rail industry in Great Britain
@alexhornbyrail are you able to do anything about this? It's not about this specific train but the overall principle of the contempt the rail industry treats passengers
Replying to @RailUKForums @alexhornbyrail
Hi there, we are unable to hold this service sadly. Tickets will be valid on the 2247 YRK-HUL service in this case. I'm sorry for the cancellation today, this is due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time.

@SW_Help are you able to assist any passengers who have been incorrectly instructed by SWR staff to purchase new tickets, when they were entitled to be re-routed as per gov.uk/government/publicatio… please?

Why do train companies such as @AvantiWestCoast and others behave this way?
Can anyone do anything to get rogue train companies to behave?
Poor show by @northernassist and @AvantiWestCoast:

So much for slogans such as "Britain's train companies working together" or "putting customers at the heart of everything we do"
@greensignallers @seatsixtyone @SRichardBowker @alexhornbyrail
lner.co.uk/support/revenue-p… "When you purchase a ticket and travel with LNER, you’re agreeing to a legal contract with us that’s set out in The National Rail Conditions of Travel"
NRCoT 13.1.2 validates travel via an itinerary; you can't prosecute someone for that, @LNER @DavidHorne

@AvantiWestCoast why have you cancelled this customer's booking, and why have you not refunded them?
Is this the fault of the awful Pico4UK booking provider which your owning group insisted on you using?
railforums.co.uk/threads/tax…
How is this behaviour acceptable @AvantiWestCoast ?
Will you as a company ever deal with the poor attitude of several members of your staff at Euston?
The poor attitude of some staff at Euston is a long standing problem at Avanti
Is there ticket acceptance between Sheffield and Derby between XC/EMR? @EastMidRailway @cross
Two train loads on the 1442 from York towards Birmingham. Will you declassify first class @CrossCountryUK ?
Replying to @SouthernRailUK
@SouthernRailUK are e bikes like this allowed on board, and if so, are they allowed to block doors like this? On the 1115 TAT - LBG
Is it really cheaper to book taxis for passengers on the last London to Hull connection from Doncaster, than to hold the @northernassist train a few more mins?
Will this change under GBR, or are taxis baked in now? is this really the best deal for taxpayers? @alexhornbyrail
Where is this train at Leeds platform 12 going?
@TPEassist @networkrail
Will passengers be compensated if they end up in the wrong place?
Should the staff at the @LNER lounge at Kings Cross be directing people for the 12:33 train on platform 7 before the train even arrived in the platform?
This happened 5 mins ago, 40 mins prior to departure, as the inbound was rolling in
Can this be right @DavidHorne ?
Awful customer service from @tfwrail, whose train is affected by very short notice engineering works:
railforums.co.uk/threads/tfw…
Hopefully TfW will see sense and confirm the passenger can depart earlier, to avoid a delay and enable them to arrive on time.
Why is Ford to Carmarthen so slow and expensive on your website @GWRHelp compared to ours?
