There’s a pretty high bar (or low?) for the stupidest shit I’ve seen in my 7 years working in this industry This clears it Most memecoins can at least make a thesis that’s only 80% bullshit This project would dream of that “Hey guys there’s this thing called gp in a video game. Cool right? Here’s 20,000 words of AI slop that have nothing to do with that. But hey, we set up an LP so you can sell it for GLDx. Genius right? Buy our token” If any of you idiots buy this idiotic AI-slop laden shit, you’re probably still waiting for someone to trim your mithril armor

Look, is AI making our lives better? No. But is it making things less expensive? Unfortunately, the opposite. Now, is it making the internet a better place? More slop than ever, actually! But does it allow us to spend more time being creative? That's actually the thing it's best at stealing without shame. Though, surely it's making us smarter, right? You’ll never guess, but…

Scott has an income of $55,000 per year. Scott spends $75,000 per year ($10,000 on guns). Scott grows his debt by $20,000 per year. Scott has total debt right now of $400,000. Scott has fixed unfunded liabilities of $1,750,000 and is less than 10 years from retirement. Scott's own employees say that his 130% debt will be 690% by the year 2096. Scott needs to refinance roughly $100,000 in the next 12 months to stay solvent. What is happening now? Scott has a Japanese friend who is his biggest lender (despite being in even more debt) that just told Scott he might need to unwind $110,000 of Scott's debt to the open market. Therefore Scot sent his Japanese friend "$50-$100" this summer to keep him calm and ask him to not dump the debt. The credit card companies Scott borrows from are refusing to give him cheap debt anymore, and are giving him 19 year highs on interest rates. Scott said on August 19th that because nobody is buying his credit card debt that he will "at least double" the rate he is buying back his own credit card debt with new debt he takes out. The credit card companies didn't like that and offered him even higher rates 24 hours later. If Scott goes bankrupt we have WW3, because Scott has been buying lots of guns. Scott would rather dilute Dollars he is borrowing in and watch himself starve than go bankrupt. You can buy 100% of the insurance in the world against Scott's insolvency for $15,700. Scott himself has said publicly that he wants to buy insurance against himself and that people should consider buying it. Scott's friends say they want to back his debt with the insurance against his debt - because the insurance is that cheap and the debt is that bad. This insurance plan's cost to buy went up 30% over the last 3 days. Why? Because people are starting to doubt Scott. Scott is America. The insurance plan is Bitcoin.

Orange pilled my mate down the pub last night. Honestly, it’s so simple once you explain it properly. I told him Bitcoin is just money you hold yourself. He liked that. Then he asked how you hold it. So I explained you buy a hardware wallet, but obviously not that one, and not that one either. Then I said don’t trust its randomness, you’ll want to generate your own entropy with dice. He said “like Monopoly dice?” Bless him. No, mate. Casino-grade precision dice, and verify they’re fair first, because a biased die is a biased seed. Then I said roll it 99 times. He asked why not fewer. I explained that anything less than 99 rolls gives you less entropy, and while 50 rolls and 12 words is technically unbreakable by every computer that will ever exist, we don’t do technically round here. We do 256 bits. He asked what a bit was. I told him not to worry about it. Then I explained you do this in a room with no phone, no smart speaker, no camera, ideally soundproofed, because the acoustics of a dice roll and your keystrokes are a side channel. He’d gone quiet by then, so I gave him a minute. Then I said you’ll want 3 seeds, not 1, because single points of failure are what wiped out 500 people last week. So that’s 297 dice rolls. Then multisig, 2-of-3, and you’ll need to back up the descriptor as well as the words, because 3 seeds alone won’t rebuild the wallet, and yes, that’s a fourth thing to lose. Then I said store the 3 backups in 3 separate locations, because if a burglar or a house fire gets two, you’ve achieved nothing. He asked where. I said somewhere fireproof, ideally stamped in steel, definitely not the loft. Then I mentioned the Faraday bag. And the airgap. And that you sign transactions by waving QR codes at a Raspberry Pi you built yourself. And that you should rehearse the whole thing on a parallel test network with fake coins first, obviously. He asked what happens if he gets it wrong. I said you lose everything forever, and nobody is coming to help you. Anyway, that’s another one onboarded. 💪

They were in Lebanon. THEY WERE IN LEBANON. THEY WERE KILLED IN FUCKING LEBANON, THE COUNTRY THEY WERE FUCKING INVADING. I feel like I'm going insane.
Four Israeli soldiers were killed by Hezbollah last night. Trump, meanwhile, calls Israel's efforts to defend itself against Hezbollah "vicious."

I just ran these numbers on Micron stock going back to 1997 and the results are even crazier. If you only held Micron from the US market close to the US market open, everyday, you'd be up 171,853x. If you only held the stock during market hours, you'd be down 99.96%. Anyone knows what drives this?
Crazy chart. Someone who bought Bitcoin on the US stock market close and sold on the next open, everyday, would be up 2.7x over the past two years. Someone who bought on the US stock open and sold on the close would be down 52%.

The “uninvolved civilian” they shot at was a SEVEN MONTH OLD BABY. His name was Sam Fahd Abou Haikal.
Earlier today, during operational activity in the area of Hebron, IDF soldiers perceived a vehicle accelerating toward them. An IDF soldier responded with single shots toward the vehicle. As a result, three Palestinians were injured and evacuated for medical treatment. An initial inquiry found that those injured were uninvolved civilians. The incident is under review, and the findings will be submitted for review by the relevant authorities. The IDF expresses deep sorrow for any harm caused to uninvolved individuals.
