For the first time, a Bitcoin metaprotocol has been audited by an institutional-grade security firm. Alkanes has completed its audit with @HalbornSecurity.
Bitcoin DeFi now carries the rigor and reputation that both institutional capital and mainstream adoption demand.

Neither OddsFi or Hxro Network before that has anything to do with @ResideFi.
The X account for OddsFi is compromised.
Contributors are trying to figure out how as it was properly verified.
There have been several attempts for help made to @Support unfortunately with zero success. @solana and @LaunchOnSF have also been notified.
Again, do not interact with the handle or with ResideFi.
Profile history on @ResideFi shows the account was @hxronetwork, then @oddsfi before becoming Reside. So he might have followed either of the other accounts. Still a scam project, though.

I think a coin is about to insta-5x.
Here's why.
Both $LEVERCAT and $LEVERHEDGE went up 5x in the last 24 hours as they were the two @hylo_so @LaunchOnSF tokens that were above 1 Million marketcap... making them eligible to earn Hylo XP just for holding.
Now...
There's a THIRD coin, solana:6iLrk475gh1yUv1tQKSC5nUugAHgxeTUf2GTo1Xvsz5m that just broke the 1M marketcap range, making it now one of only three tokens in the world eligible to farm Hylo XP.
This happened literal minutes ago.
I think the odds solana:6iLrk475gh1yUv1tQKSC5nUugAHgxeTUf2GTo1Xvsz5m does a similar multiple in the next 24 hours as the two previous coins did are VERY good IMO.

70% of startups fail.
Most never figure out why.
@Uniblock co-founder + Superteam Canada member @KevGCallahan breaks down the principles that actually decide who makes it.

Most people think @Pumpfun and @risedotrich are the same thing because they both have bonding curves.
They aren't.

We've fixed the loop and encoded real value into onchain markets.
Hold. Unlock Credit. Earn Yield.
No selling. No liquidations. No interest.
Real DeFi starts with $ANA and the AVM.
DeFi is dead and most of you still don鈥檛 understand what it actually was
It was never a financial system. It was a loop designed to manufacture synthetic valuations from minimal capital
Protocols didn鈥檛 grow capital, they multiplied how it was counted by turning one deposit into multiple positions
A token gets emitted, you鈥檙e paid to deposit it, and that deposit is recorded as TVL. That鈥檚 position one.
You borrow stables against that same collateral, deploy them somewhere else, and now that same base capital is supporting a second position on another protocol
Then you take the LP token from that, restake or loop it again, and it gets counted a third time
Lets simplify it with $100:
> You deposit $100 into a protocol, that鈥檚 your first position and it鈥檚 recorded as $100 TVL
> You borrow $80 against that same $100 and deposit it somewhere else, now there鈥檚 another $80 being counted
> You borrow $60 against that $80 and deploy it again, now that鈥檚 another layer
You take the receipt from that and loop it one more time
On paper you now have $280+ across protocols, but in reality its still the same $100
This is the same illusion as altcoins printing billion dollar market caps on tiny float
A $2B token with 5% circulating isn鈥檛 $2B of value, it鈥檚 $100M of liquidity marked higher by thin trading
DeFi did the same thing with TVL. Instead of multiplying price across supply, it multiplied the same capital across protocols
TVL became FDV in a different format
Protocols emitted tokens to LPs, counted those tokens as TVL, then counted the incentivized volume as usage
That volume generated fees, fees justified valuation, valuation justified emissions, and the loop continued
No external demand was needed and the system kept feeding itself
Every narrative ran the same structure. Yield farming, LSDs, restaking, points. Different names for the same mechanic
You weren鈥檛 earning yield. You were being paid in dilution
At the peak, $200B+ TVL implied capital that never existed. The real base was a fraction of that, looped, leveraged and counted multiple times
Each protocol reported it independently, dashboards aggregated it as if it was additive
That鈥檚 how the industry looked massive
This is why altcoin market caps and DeFi TVL broke at the same time
Both were built on internal pricing, thin liquidity, and recycled capital. One inflated valuation through float, the other through collateral loops
Neither represented real economic scale
The fragility came from this exact structure. The hacks weren鈥檛 random....
You don鈥檛 extract hundreds of millions from systems generating real external cash flow, you extract from systems where the value was already abstract
Strip out token denominated TVL, emission based yield, recycled collateral, and wash volume. What鈥檚 left is a small set of protocols actually moving capital
DeFi didn鈥檛 fail. It worked exactly as designed. It took limited capital, looped it, marked it higher, and distributed it
Now that the loop is visible, the numbers don鈥檛 hold
That鈥檚 why it doesn鈥檛 bounce. There鈥檚 nothing underneath it to support the scale it once claimed

The data breach with Vercel does not affect @nirvana_fi.
We use Vercel strictly to host public resources. Vercel does not "know" anything that has not already been downloaded a hundred thousand times by web browsers. Vercel only ever was given least-privilege read-only access to the public website code so that it could host it. Out of an abundance of caution, that privilege has been completely revoked.
All sensitive material (like database passwords) are locked away in proper encrypted secret managers.
An event like this gives good perspective on what makes an app "crypto" at all. Even if someone got access to our database, they could not steal funds. All they would do is ruin my weekend while I fix it.
If a "DeFi" app uses "off-chain" modules, then a lost password will mean stolen money. Be aware that "oracles" and "matching engines" fall under this category.
This is also a good opportunity to point out: security is often at odds with convenience. Use the best tool for the right job. There are companies who specialize in secret storage. Vercel is a pretty slick website hosting tool, and should not be used for anything else.
Using OpenClaw is basically is like driving your own Ferrari (that you have to be a mechanic for yourself) and it's broken down all the time, but gives you the time of your life
vs driving a reliable Honda (Hermes Agent)
vs riding the bus (Claude / ChatGPT)
