Just remember this. When Labour say "free movement" we're not talking about hardworking Polish plumbers anymore. We're talking about the 1 million illegals who Spain's Pedro Sánchez just put on a fast-track to citizenship. They will head straight to the UK.

I understand why people are taking a second look at the Tories given the mess Reform is in, but you have to listen carefully to what Badenoch says. She thinks the disintegrating social fabric can be repaired with managerial tinkering. She ultimately thinks it's a integration problem - and an institutional problem (fixing the police, the schools and the operating assumptions of authorities). While these are all changes that need to happen, they needed to happen at least ten years ago - but there's no integrating the Boriswave. Most of it is garbage immigration that can only be a net drain. The policies Badenoch has thus far backed only go some of the way. Ending ILR is essential, as is deporting illegals and removing benefits, but the policy has to be an active policy of complete Boriswave reversal. On that score, for Badenoch to be convincing, she ought to be showing as much contempt for the Tories who enabled the Boriswave as she does Reform. This where the Tory party itself becomes the main barrier. Shabana Mahmood has faced opposition from her back benchers on marginal ILR reforms - but there's no reason to expect the Tory party will be any different. They all spout the same bullshit rhetoric about "fairness" and "British values", and Tories almost certainly will seek carve-outs for care workers on the same basis. The exception becomes the loophole. Without an unequivocal recognition that the Boriswave was a historic error in need of urgent correction, the Tory party is just another managed decline option. Same destination, slower speed.

We need to rally behind organizations that are working hard to defend our place outside the EU. I'm going to post a few links every day for the next few weeks, who deserve your support and will no doubt be publishing great content. First up: @BritainUnbound @tfa4freedom

It’s becoming clear to me that on Nov 4 we will wake up with a DEMOCRATS ROUT TRUMP headline in the US. I’ll be back there this week to witness it all. That will cause Andy Burnham to say, “Well look clearly the free world is beginning to regret its flirtation with populism. We must heed that, and move accordingly with the times.” He will call on Nov 4 for Dec 10 and run on a message of a “lost 10 years since Brexit.” The media will obviously assist him. Even the Tory press will give them succour. Reform will be barely mentioned, intentionally. All that being said, this is why LOCAL campaigns matter more right now. If you have the ability to go out and campaign you must do it. One hour. Two hours. After work. Whatever you can. And not next week or next month. Now. Get stuck in. It’s your last shot at saving this country from a decade of decline.
I suspect this isn’t actually very good data but on the off chance that it is accurate, I will have no sympathy for the Britons who vote for the uniparty and then endure the worst decade they’ve ever experienced between now and 2036. The capital flight will be astounding. You’ll be begging for foreign aid IN rather than dishing it out.

Robert Jenrick versus Laura Kuenssberg this morning. Robert Jenrick beats the drum for a working Britain. Laura Kuenssberg beating the drum for welfare Britain. As an alarm clock Brit, I don’t understand where she is coming from. Why are Reform lambasted by this left-wing government propaganda machine for wanting what is best for the country? @robertjenrick

I’ve written many times about how the soft left on Labour’s backbenches are ‘economic illiterates’. This is proof positive. Beyond redemption in its misunderstanding of markets, supply, demand, taxes.
Nope, that’s not how taxes and price works. The price is determined by demand and supply. Companies charge the highest price they can given demand. A tax levied on *profits* does not affect a company’s cost ie supply. Taxes on *windfall* profits (like oil and gas) are the most efficient kind of tax there is.

Angela Rayner says “we didn’t have the facts” when we voted to end EU Free Movement. Er, how? We wanted it to end. It did. It’s that simple. Did the people of Makerfield not ‘have the facts’ when they voted for Andy Burnham who said he’d respect and protect their vote for Brexit?

The Home Office has been completely captured. They’ve made it more profitable to house illegal migrants than victims of domestic abuse. What kind of a country does that? Only @ZiaYusufUK will fix it.

We have to cut spending. Nothing else will save us.
The UK government has, since April, spent no less than £61 billion - that’s £61,000,000,000 - on debt interest payments. That’s equivalent to our entire annual defence budget - on just half a year’s worth of debt service costs, not paying back a penny of our national debt. For £61bn you could build 40 state-of-the-art hospitals. Or employ 100,000 nurses for a decade Or fund free-at-the-point-of-use social care, across the entire UK, for three years. Watch this short “When The Facts Change” video for more on the UK’s soaring debt interest bill - the biggest national scandal our mainstream media continues to ignore.

This is hugely damaging for the Government’s economic credibility, the sort of thing that sends shivers down the spine of those trying to succeed despite the odds.
BREAKING The Treasury’s entrepreneurship adviser has announced she is quitting. Alex Depledge tells my colleague @hannahprevett start-ups are treated as a “sideshow” and a “nice to have”. “Entrepreneurship can’t be seen as a good news bonus on the margins of economic policy. That mentality is really dangerous for British business as a whole…” Depledge due to leave her role on Thursday, the day after the Budget. Read her full comments here👇 thetimes.com/article/b28ab86…

In Bradford, a 14-year-old boy made the catastrophic error of objecting to a tall, fat, bald, bearded adult pissing in the street at 8:30 in the morning. Result: life-changing facial injuries and emergency surgery. Welcome to modern Britain, where basic standards of public behaviour are now enforced exclusively by children, and the adult response is to rearrange their face. Meanwhile according to @ShabanaMahmood crime in the UK is at an all time low & we are truly the envy of the civilised world.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Andy Burnham has admitted he wants open door immigration with the EU. Freedom of movement means 450 million people will be able to move to the UK with no powers to stop them. Why is Burnham so determined to open the floodgates once again?
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham says an "honest discussion" is needed on Britain readopting EU free movement "Freedom of movement had very significant challenges associated with it... but it was a type of immigration that perhaps wasn’t as difficult [as now]"
