November 4: I was excited about tax credits for small companies, down payments for new home owners, stabilized prices, lower interest rates, home healthcare, Medicare and Social Security protections, a continuation of healthcare for 95% including kids under 25 and those with preexisting conditions. November 6: I dread seeing families and communities ripped apart by divisiveness and deportations, tariffs that will cause increased inflation, chaos and a recession, Trump fawning over autocrats, Ukraine suffering, Netanyahu emboldened, Eastern Europe abandoned, no protections for LBGTQ+, police with total immunity, destruction of the ACA, social security and Medicare safety net, and most of all, I dread seeing another generation of young people who will think Trump is someone to emulate.
