I was lucky to participate on a @Glen_Tanar forestry day a few years ago.
We saw practical physics & maths taught with the help of a winch on a forestry skidder. 🌲🚜

This afternoon I slept and dreamed it had all slipped away , that we were all ambling to the funeral of life . We were sobbing over Swallows and Small Coppers , crying about Cuckoos and porpoises , choking and gasping about rivers and meadows . And when I woke up . . . the world was on fire

This is my lawn. My son plays football on it and my daughter runs barefoot in the summer. We picnic on it on a nice day and the dog plays fetch here too. It serves every purpose we need it to, and we can still share it with insects and the occasional mole #NoMowMay #wildflowers
