The pursuit followed a robbery report by a woman who told police that she and her friends had been robbed of five mobile phones by individuals travelling in a black Toyota Prado. Armed with actionable intelligence, detectives swung into action, trailing down the vehicle believed to be connected to the robbery. Their search led them to the black Prado, registration number KDX 642Y. But when detectives moved in to intercept it, the driver had other ideas. Defying police orders to stop, he floored the accelerator, setting the stage for a high-stakes pursuit through the town. Hot on the vehicle’s trail, the detectives pressed on, determined to bring the fleeing occupants to a halt. When the driver continued to defy their orders, officers fired at the vehicle’s tyres, puncturing them near Oile Park. With its tyres deflated, the Prado veered out of control before crashing into an electric pole with a deafening bang! The impact damaged the vehicle’s front-right side, bringing the attempted getaway to an end. Two suspects, William Onyango Odhiambo and Felix Owino Onyango, were arrested as they attempted to flee from the wrecked vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a black pistol and three mobile phones, all detained as exhibits as detectives intensified investigations into the suspects’ involvement in a string of cross-border robberies. The two suspects remain in custody undergoing processing pending arraignment. The DCI remains steadfast in pursuing criminal elements and dismantling networks that threaten the safety and security of Kenyans. #FichuaKwaDCI. Wewe na nani ?? I don't think Kenyans will be attending that nonsense
We will hold a massive protest outside Raila Odinga Stadium on 5th January 2027 against William Ruto’s blatant mockery of the suffering of Kenyans. @FCBayernEN and @AFCAjax should provide adequate security to their players. Kenyans deserve leadership that puts their struggles first.

🀣🀣 I really hate it when someone loves Sifuna more than me, lakini GEN-Z baddie hukuwa in full support of @edwinsifuna no matter the cost. She is always ready to defend and support him and, mostly, promote the Lindamwananchi movement. So apparently, today while we were in town, Mombasa County, at Mapembeni area, Charity held us ka mini rally and it was interesting listening to her. The beautiful mind she has was dropping pure facts and knowledge that got everyone's attention. Some of the key points she was talking about were how, among all the presidential candidates, it is only Edwin Sifuna who can win the 2027 general election, but first, we have to support him and show up in large numbers to vote for him. @genz___baddie spoke about how we should convince the undecided population and encourage them to vote for Edwin Sifuna because he is the change we want as Kenyans. There is a majority of people who are still not sure who to vote for in 2027, and it's our responsibility to talk to them and help them come up with a decision. Finally, she finished by promising us that if William Ruto goes home in 2027, she will land a good-paying job, get married, and also invite us to her ruracio and, of course, her wedding. 🀣🀣 #KwaleNiSifuna

William Ruto is not afraid of losing the 2027 general election, the only thing that should worry him is the kind of regime that will be taking over after him and whether they will have the courage to reopen all the cases of atrocities, abductions, corruption and police brutality that have happened under his watch. Unajua the problem with staying in power for too long is that you start thinking that power will protect you forever. But the same power you are enjoying today is the same power you will lose tomorrow. And when that day comes, you will have to face the same institutions that you have been in charge of. The Gen Z protests, the abductions, the deaths of young Kenyans and all the unanswered questions cannot just disappear because the country has moved on to another election. Families are still looking for answers, and Kenyans are still demanding accountability. My question is, what happens when the person occupying State House is no longer the one who has been in charge? Will the next government have the courage to allow independent investigations, even when the people being investigated are powerful politicians and their allies? Because losing an election is one thing, but leaving behind a legacy that future administrations must answer questions about is a completely different story. And let me be clear, nobody should be jailed simply because they were president or because a new regime wants revenge. But if investigations establish criminal responsibility, then the law must take its course, regardless of one's political status. The biggest test of Kenya's democracy in 2027 will not just be who wins the presidency, but whether we can finally build a country where power does not protect anyone from accountability.
