Then, when he decided to retransition, he instantly abandoned his entire philosophy and started posting extremely vapid takes about why the continuum fallacy means trans women are women. Watching Ray’s blatant and nakedly self-serving rationalizations happen in real time, it was obvious that Ray does not have a stable worldview, that his reason truly is the slave of his passions. So his recent crashout is sadly not surprising. AGP in the presence of gender ideology can genuinely work a bit like demon possession. Slowly, the meme parasitizes every other aspect of your cognition until it’s all you think about, and the rest of your worldview warps around it like light lensing around a black hole. The sad thing is that it would be mostly harmless without our excessive social permissiveness. AGPs would exist, keep it private, not make it the center of their lives. No one would know. And they themselves would be happier because they wouldn’t be entirely consumed by the manic pursuit of something that they can’t achieve. Making sexual desire the center of your life, in any form, is hollow and disappointing. AGP transition is just a particularly glaring example of this.
