since its dead, no harm in trying to use a hair dryer or heat gun to soften the glue and a spudger to pry it open to replace the battery. If you ruin it, you are not really worse off but if you succeed then YAY!

I use to go offroading with my dad all the time in a raised Pathfinder we use to call "The Beast", if you dont have at least one tire in the air or going up/down a 70 degree angle then you are just driving on a dirt road
